Morning all -
I got part of the screen porch project done yesterday; that was a hard job alone! But there was no wind, so at least the plastic sheeting didn't blow around as I was tacking it down. I did have some foot/leg fatigue after standing in strange positions on the ladder... but all is OK today, thank goodness. Off to get some more supplies this morning, and complete that 'bear' of a project, whew. Next on the list is to deal with all the fallen branches (some as big as small trees) on the lawn. Condo living is sounding more and more appealing! But just when I start to think that, then I see a breath taking sunrise or sunset, and I realize how lucky we are to have wide views. Who knows?!
Lav, interesting about the veggie broth - I will try that. I will now be able to get back on a more alkaline diet - I have a DX scan on Monday, so that will give me good info, and I ordered some more ph test strips. No drugs for me, don't worry! I love to hear that you have had Lavanitude since 1977! That was a great story.
Star, sorry about the worries over Thanksgiving... it gets complicated when kids marry and there is a whole new bunch of people to fold into the mix. Well, I guess you could have a small celebration at your house; I am so glad that your son is dating! It's good to protect him from un-informed noncompassionate people, so sorry he has to deal with that.
Pauly, I get that you don't want to work on a Saturday - it's hard to go to work on a day that is everyone else's day off! I used to feel that way when I worked in the theater- everyone but me (it seemed) got their weekend off. I hope it turned out to be a good day yesterday.
SK, how's things? I'm looking forward to a painted rock update.
So I signed up for the breathe1111.com site. Very simple, you choose the ring tone that you want, and say to be notified AM, or PM, or both. That's it. I'm glad that I listened to the brief first podcast on the site, so when it pinged me at 11:11, I did the breathing and the wishes, and then looked at the global map they provide --- and I got very emotional - you can see people all over the world that are doing the same thing as you are right at the same moment! I mean all over the world... India, Ireland, South America, Japan... it is a heat map of the activity. What a feeling of connection to like-minded people!!! Check out the site, it is all about getting a world-wide community dedicated to bringing peace to ourselves and to the world, wow.
Wishing all a peaceful and happy Sunday ---
