Yes, I cooked a ton of food yesterday but due to the ongoing silence between my son & daughter I can no longer have them here together. I really, really hope this nonsense ends soon, makes me sad. We ate leftovers today but I skipped the horseradish, ha ha!

Pauly, if your grown kids are no longer interested in Thanksgiving, fine. Next year make reservations for you & your husband & just go out to dinner - I would!!! No shopping for me today, nope!

PQ, I hope you got the quiet time you needed this morning. That never, ever happened for me where I worked, no way!!

Lav...I got about an hour then all hell broke loose. Nothing more was accomplished. Our event tonight is a 50th anniversary for the church across the street and the woman I was working with was great. Unfortunately she was late showing up this morning and the 5 band members figured each of them was a boss. Ha, the MC came up to me as I was leaving tonight and said the hall looks great and thanks for putting up with everything this morning. He was impressed with how I handled things. He on the other hand blew up at least 3 times.

Shout out to Det, Pi, Sam, TT and the rest of the visitors. Time for relaxing....:smile:PPQP

There's some thieving bstards where I live.
Last night someone stole my TV, Xbox, DVD player, all my porn, a big bag of weed and two bottles of vodka.
I wouldn't mind but I only left my cell for five minutes.

Does anyone know what day Black Friday will be on next year please?

Mick...is this the first time they've seen snow? Sounds like Jeeves is having fun. I had completely forgotten about the body part boss joke, thanks for reminding me. I talked with the boss before leaving work and was surprised at his response but it did make sense to me. In a nutshell he said the new bldg super has to make the job his own and he has to make his own mistakes and learn from them. That totally changed my way of thinking. It has given me some ideas on how to handle situations instead of getting pissed off at things. I have a better outlook on things now.

Pauly...Mick makes a lot of sense but he sure hands out the homework doesn't he. Just don't stress yourself over work, it's just a job. Did I really just say that! LOL

Warmish today but getting chilly now, crazy weather.

At least it's not snowing here Mick! You said you were getting a lot of rain, geez.
Make sure you bundle up before you go out exploring tomorrow
Someday I am going to find a way to get my kids back on talking terms. I'm just not willing to get myself stressed out over it though. The 'family unit' just has not felt right since all this started nearly 15 months ago.

Pauly, take a trip over this way, it won't be 80 degrees here again until next summer!
