MAE to the rest of the gang. Sunday chore day but will try to get outside for awhile as it looks like the temps next week will be in the single digits! I can feel the snow approaching already!

I made a big pot of Italian wedding soup with little (chicken) meatballs today ~ good. I put tons of minced garlic in the meatballs & a good grating of nutmeg - yum

Lav, sounding very good indeed. Soup sounds grand on a rainy day. Still smokin' hot here in the desert but
compared to OK it's lovely and dry and no bugs!

Excited and nervous lad here... got two meets in the works. A coffee tomorrow at 11:30 with a lovely Persian woman that
speaks 5 languages. Then a lovely Hispanic lady on Friday eve. I wanted to be more social so look out here I come!

I'm sooo loving the microgreens and encourage yoos-all to give them a go. 7 to 9 days for a full mini-crop in 10x20 inch trays.
Will post more pics... I'm just geeking out on them. Today we had sunflower and cantaloupe microgreens and they were insanely
good. Just a drizzle of EVOO and tiny sprinkle of salt.

Other good news for the day: got a F2F job interview on Tue lined up at a solar energy company. And... hit the gym early
before the crowds.

well, off to see what movie the kids said they were putting on.

Good evening Abbers,

Still quite damp here but not a ton of rain today.
Heading out for a recheck with the doc tomorrow, will likely need a bit more Prednisone, we'll see. Then to the allergist on Friday to probably be stuck like a pin cushion, ha ha!

Det, I have to give seed sprouting another try. I did some a while ago with not too fabulous results. I'm going to actually wait until I find out what I am allergic to first. A good friend of mine suddenly developed a life threatening allergy to sunflower seeds a few years ago. That's when it's actually nice to work in a hospital - you can get immediate help!
You have yourself a busy schedule ahead - good luck with everything, the job interview too

Pauly, when my daughter decided to go to a university across the state it was a 4 1/2-5 hr ride each way, ugh! That was one bore-ass drive on the turnpike. Glad you enjoyed yourself though.

ps... Lav check out microgreen growing vid's on youtube. they are bigger than sprouts and smaller than baby greens. so far they
have been easy to grow except for the amaranth which is very water sensitive.

Mae everybody,Det,Glad you had fun on your coffee date,yay! Just try and go slow tho ok? I don't want you getting overwhelmed with dating,I'm with you that Mick needs to share some food porn!! When we were in California we ate at an Italian restaurant that must have been pretty authentic,it was dark and creepy! I couldn't really enjoy my chicken alfredo cuz it was after 5:30 when we went,,,,I don't like eating after 4 pm so I had the pasta guilt haha! PQ,any news on the vandals?
