mae all how are we then all good I hope...some real bad news ..panda isnt too well...Ive got an appt at the vet in the morning , but......I really hope Im wrong and they can do something for her ....it never gets easier ...

Mick...so sorry to hear the news about Panda. :sad: I am shocked to read that, especially after thinking things were ok. You're in my thoughts more than usual today. Took me a minute to figure out "wearing a coat" and then I remembered you're British. I actually did have cheese in my salad though. LOL Got my fingers crossed and will check in again for any news.

Flat-out work here at the house, it is a thrill a minute - old chests exploding in mold, new places on basement, a bloom on an interior wall upstairs... there must be some message in this! Meanwhile just trying to dry things out - a challenge with no A/C, and continuing storms. Hope to get the last basement boxes done today in advance of the storms.

wow, took 656 pictures yesterday and it was quite a workout but totally fun now editing them is the tedious part, yet
strangely still fun for me. They are impressed and want me to be a contract photographer for them. wowsers!

blood cholesterol levels are a poor indicator of pathologies to put it mildly, although we do have a large body of correlation
indicating those with the highest HDL levels are at less risk of CVD in general.

Me Mum isn't responding to texts so I'm assuming she's getting settled in to home, or on her way... will know soon.

Lav, avocado oil is good stuff for frying etc. I use EVOO raw and unheated, European style...drizzled in great quantities
on the food once plated. Eat craploads of it and still losing weight. i can see my stomach muscles again! holy crap Batman.
I like oatmeal but it makes me ....not... show my stomach muscles if you get my drift

well, off to roast some chicken and veggies for the fandamily.... y'all be good good now....

Mae everyone. Heavy storms have stopped, but rain contines. I park next to a Live oak an the acorns are always pinging
and the floods has cover the acorns so I almost did a faceplant because didn't realize what was under the mud and water, had to grab onto so I grabbed the bumper with my right hand an:egad:d ouch.

Cyn, that is the worst job -cleaning because it is seemingly endless.

Lav, did you lose power? Big storm here, and I had all my power-out supplies in place, but we made it.
The storm was very intense, but didn't go on all night. I've heard about a lot of flooding in towns close by. I checked the dehumidifier in the basement during the night, but all was OK... we'll see what the seepage brings, ugh. More rain tonight... yikes. Friday I have a contractor coming over to look at some areas of concern, and a mold inspector waiting to schedule. I need answers so that I can move on!

Mick...been thinking of you all day. Was just wondering if she got her medication while you were on holidays, she was doing so good. I'm praying things went ok but a little concerned we haven't heard from you.

SK...I take it the right hand was the injured one. Hope you didn't do anymore damage to it. You be careful out there in those rain storms.

Det...you sure it was only 656 pics? Congrats on the contracting job as it won't feel like work because you love it. This could lead to bigger things. Any chance of getting more info about the job? Will we be able to see any of the photos? OK, I'll stop with the questions.

Lav...got an A+ from the arthritis doc so am good for another year! Yesterday felt like summer and today we had snow. Nothing sticking around but it's miserable out there.

YB had to go for his annual gun recertification today & that involved a trip to the courthouse to file the papers for his permit. He promised lunch so I went along, ha ha!
I just mentioned in the Nest that we stopped at a place called the 'Four Dog Tavern', great food!!! We were seated at a table directly across from the bar & it meant absolutely nothing to me. No desire to drink, no just 'one' thoughts, nothing. This is real freedom people
Still raining but just light rain today.

SK, you will end up in a full body cast if you keep falling woman. Sorry, don't mean to be mean, just concerned about you! Be careful out there & inside too :hug:

Cyn, we didn't lose power but I was ready too (been there & done it too many times).
At the rate things are going I'm pretty sure we will end up with 7" of rain, or more for the month, ugh.
Last night I let the dog out around 10 pm. This morning I let her out the same door & suddenly found we have a mushroom farm growing in the mulch out front. The shrooms were 6" tall, at least! How the heck can they grow that fast??? Only a fungus can accomplish something like that.
I hope you can get a handle on your leaky arears before winter settles in & brings a whole new set of problems, geez.

Had surprise Date #5 last night... crikey! #4 called me and wanted to get together again, so off we went to a very cool hipster
coffee shop in the 'art district', then walked around the neighborhood people and building watching. Very enjoyable indeed.
Walked her to her car and we went 'all the way' to a nice hug goodnight

Editing photos today while listening to Brit 80's songs today is definitely my idea of a mighty fine work day. They are stoked by the images
and I hope I'll be allowed to share some soon.

hiya all...just a quick jumpin from me ,took Panda and Jeevesto vet yesterday,she has lost 100gms in weight which doesnt sound a lot but it is for that wee ball of fluff,I saw 2 vets one of whom is a rabbit specialist ,the prognosis is not good.They did tests on her,to see if her legs still had nervesetc...they have so its a neurological condition.the only way to treat that is meds no op.so starting yesterday for 24hrs she is on that.Ifthatfails,then Ive asked them to put her to sleep ..her quality of life would be such that it was not acceptable ,covered in urine ,and as time goes on sores from dragging herself.It was quite a convesation ,he was trying skirt round it all,but in the end I basically said lets cut out the shiny crap and talk truth..thats when he told me there was not a big chance of her coming thru it ..we shall see..I so hope I am wrong,Ive also got Jeeves to think about in this too.sorry to be a pain but tbh Idont feel much like fun atm ..but hope you all haveagoodweekend anyway

Mick, so very, very sorry to hear the news about Panda. Sometimes they surprise us and pull through, but you have her best interest at heart and will let her go if that's the better course... very brave of you. I have been in this place so many times - it is never easy, take care.

Glad to hear good news for you PPQ and Det. Hello to Sam. Lav, fungus is a scary, wild thing. Eeeek! Glad you had a good lunch out.

I hope to get some answers today from a contractor who knows the house well, so that will be a start. Have a mold inspector coming next Wednesday. I may go out and get another dehumidifier... all this rain, and now I see some important books that are at risk, sheesh. Onward!
