Det...thanks for pointing out the Mick fixed the pics. LOL Love BB in the pumpkin, she's adorable. I can remember (or not) many a Halloween that I hid inside because I was too tipsy to answer the door. Those days are long gone and where I live we don't get any goblins coming around so can hide sober. LOL I bet Grams had a wonderful time with you. These phone interviews are new to me. That's how the boss hired our Building Super, start with a phone interview and if he liked what he heard set up a face to face interview. Keeping my fingers crossed as well for you.

Tgirl...hoses were the first to be put away. Once the underground irrigation was blown out it was time. Only took another 2 weeks to get to the rest of it. LOL I think Wind is the worst. It always seems to wear me out. Lots of room up here in Canada, come on up.

Lav...do get any trick or treat'rs at your place? When living on the ranch the neighbour kids would show up but the bigger kids were all at the community centre.

Sam...T-11 days till data is restored. Will be wanting an update on things by then.

My granddaughter was very happy with her witch bag & the treats inside. Not a single raisin or toothbrush in sight, ha ha!!!

SK, goodness woman!! You scare me with the falls. It's an age related thing (since we're not drinkers). We really have to work on improving strength & balance, all of us!!
I have a bottle of magnesium spray that I originally purchased for lower back & hip pain. It works well when I remember to actually use it of course. I found out that if I use it before bedtime it not only makes my back feel better but it also calms the jumpy legs! Nice side effect huh? I have tried many different brands & types of magnesium but do not tolerate it (destroys my GI system). This topical spray works well.
I think Viv will always want to spend time with you, even as she gets older. My grandson is also turning 10 next month & we have a real special bond. Relationships do change but they don't necessarily have to end

Cyn, we had just moved into our previous house when my mom's health problems got very serious. We had an addition built onto the house (in-law quarters) & moved them in so I could take care of her & continue to work & raise my family. Unfortunately she passed only 6 or 7 months later. My dad stayed until just two weeks before he passed when I placed him in a nursing home. It wasn't fun having him, he was a miserable person. I certainly learned my lesson.

PQ, we have lived here 15 years & have never had a trick-or-treater show up at the door, haha! Just 7 miles down the road where my son lives they get hundreds of them!!!! There's sidewalks there & the houses are closer together so the kids have a ball!

mae all how are we today then ? nippy over here but the sun is out ...my friend is coming up today so its an all you can eat carvery day!"pretty quiet atm .,...shhhhh ...did a day of cleaning yesterday ...just get those moods on every now n then !so today is a kindof rest day ...both the rabbits are out playing..I heard the magpies chattering in the trees ,so it means a cat or fox nearby..I have got to pick up some meshing later on to secure the back fence properly .

Lav, goodness you have had a go-round with the men in your life... that's a lot of years caring for someone who is difficult (your dad I meant). They never saw a wash bucket last fall. I spent 5 weeks in Banff one summer -- I am definitely a mountain girl. SK, you have a special bond with Viv that will never dim. Det, hope you have fun with kiddies coming tonight. Like Lav, our house s are widely spaced, and mine is set back far from the road... no kids have ever ventured up here. Normally the town hosts a party for the kids at the firehouse - where they can be safe and warm.

Cyn, I had those light in WAs state and the animsls would sit right under them. they do work. Thanks for the tip although I have been using the trunk for storing the sacks, but thy didn't contol odor, so I went for the ones with clumping and scented.

Lav I was in the middle of pt when the broken finger occurred and apparently you need 2 hands for it, then the broken arm. My pinched nerve has improved just the discs and scoliosis and stenosis. I do have an RX for pt for the hand.


PPQ the topper is now the same size as the mattress, and lycra top is really good.

I keep going back and forth on the moving, I dunno.

It's a rainy, thunderstorm day and the cats are very subdued, taking turns for a cuddle, and I am lazy.

Det, great pics of BB, I'll bet kindergartens would love a copy.

I've been having a bit of a declutter. My walk-in closet is bursting, and I still have a garage full of boxes from WA. I clean the kittenx box 3 x a day,so why today did the little buggers both leave me a gift in tthere. The thunderstorms maybe?

I'm not going to see Viv's costume. The rain, dark and steets are the reasons. When we ived in the McMansion teenagers were driving in, no costume, just a pillow case. I was at that time a newly arrived Cdn who apologized after going thru about .40 lbs of candy. Next year was no. If your light's weren't on you got tt'd (tt in your trees). I loved the home made costumes.

One year DD was a banana made by me with yellow flannel, slabs of foam and brown marker. My husband was a very good artist and made wiliam into an alien nickel. the nicklel was silver from shoulders to bum all, all perfect makings and an alien painted face. Great memories.

Got all my work done so played cards this afternoon. Good thing as I think I'd have said something watching the prog-coord draw lines on paper. She is totally computer illiterate, can't make a spreadsheet to save her life. I guess that's why she can charge 20 hrs overtime!!!! FFS!

mornin all ...how are we this fine morning? all good I hope .pouring down with rain yet again ,so the rabbitz are playing in the garage..its great the 2 of them seem to have hit it off well together ..I go out last thing at night andgive them their treat ..they now both jump on to the ledge together,then cuddle up ..A month ago they didnt know each other,they took time to get to know each other and now are quite happy with each other ..a few humans and politicians could leard from that /...Had a good day yesterday ,together with a pretty full tum!

I'm not exactly sure what the boys costumes were - something to do with that online game they spend so much time playing "Fortnite". Some sort of monsters or zombies or something....
You need some light hand weights to build up your wrist/hand strength. Maybe some small food cans to start with? That worked for my daughter when she was just a teen & had surgery on her knee after a skiing accident. Start slow & work your way up.
