ya all...justa quick one ...its hammeeing down and the lower gutter has blocked at julies dads ...one wet me coming up ...I dont mind ..skin is waterproof..he has a porch and it is backing up ..yes pauly you did see a hoop its in next doors garden its for football practice..just checked the loft ...all dry ...will nip in after x

Apparently it rained north & east of us but nothing here so far

Pauly, I guess you don’t get humidity often - it’s gross.
Everyone I know is complaining of not feeling great lately & today even my dog is down & out. Hasn’t touched her breakfast yet, uh oh.

Mick, YB dragged the big ladder out a few weeks ago to clear gutters right after a big storm. I don’t even know how they get so clogged, there’s no trees that close to the house. Great to get that job done for Julie’s dad

Not much else happening here. Think I’ll spend the evening in my shop creating something nice, haha!

Pauly...was going to say hope you're surviving the heat with temps over 100 degrees but then I remembered you said you loved the heat. Hope the humidity goes away soon you didn't sign up for that. Do you still have all those grasshoppers?

Mick...glad the loft is ok, wouldn't want anything to happen to the trains. It's hard to take videos/pictures of the rain, you just don't get the full effect. So I figure what I saw was actually 10 fold. Good on you going down to Julie's Dads. You be safe if you're climbing ladders.

Lav...no rain here yet. Left work as the sky was turning black and wind picking up. Hope we get rain because I didn't go out and water. LOL Good luck creating something nice and I hope to see it on your FB page. I know it's early but will you be getting busier with Xmas coming up?

Lav, you're ahead of me on the ecommerce thing for sure but I'm making headway fast. Got my shopify store and domain somewhat
figured out. Got two designs with mockups/description/pricing/sizing/colors etc posted. Got shopify linked to printful for automation... boy
that was a head-scratcher but it's super neat now and a time saver. I set up a business FB page from business.facebook.c*m as it has a lot
more features for scaling-up the biz as I strive for global domination by end of the year! Ok, I'll settle for not starving to death.

This whole 'no income' thing is indeed a challenge to my ego, especially with ongoing discussions with GF and
her daughter about forming our own little family. agh. sigh...
but I know the only way forward is forward, and catastrophizing about it will be utterly self-defeating. Instead this is
a very clear motivator to make my biz work, so I shall.

morning all..how are we from a sunny Lancashire this morning ? yep sunny no rain nish...A lot of the roads are closed due to flooding ...it never gave itself time to stop yesterday as I say its sunny and the rabbits are out playing atm ..not really done a lot ..or not really done a lot that is tangible little bit of colour in the conservatory

Mae everybody,Mick hope the cold passes quickly,was scrolling my FB and an ad for nasal polyps treatment came up and I got to thinking I wonder if I have them? Chronic stuffed up nose no matter what,I'm sure I need to go to an ENT specialist but $$$ hubs went to Shirley's house from "Laverne and Shirley" yesterday he posted a pic he took with her and she gave him a signed copy of her book and an autographed pic of her and Laverne back in the day,it was cute PQ,made mini ham and cheese sliders for dinner yesterday I was being lazy,I'm gonna quit making frozen fries cuz nobody eats them! Then they'll probably whine there's no side dish haha,Det,we are neighbors,I'm like 3-4 streets away from you keep your head up,you'll find something ASAP,Lav,I was dying over the taco video cuz those really do look GROSS!even for this junk food queen haha! Mick, that’s a lot of water, geez. I wouldn’t mess around if I lived near there. We’re situated up on a hill too from a small creek that floods frequently. Water takes out everything in it’s way

Pauly, I haven’t purchased frozen french fries in many years. My kids used to like them but not me. Lately I’ve been making sweet potato fries, simple to do & very tasty.
That guy with the funky taco was funny as hell - he was soooo mad, haha!!

Det, I hope everything works out great for you with your biz. Sounds like you’re right on top of everything.
You want to attract a lot of people & I want the exact opposite at this point. I’m retired & want to stay that way for the most part, lol.
My ambition has been seriously dwindling the last few years & I’m OK with that.

PQ, we had a short 5 minute rain shower this afternoon, no big deal. Meanwhile in a town about 15 miles away two guys were struck by lightning, OMG. One was reported to be in cardiac arrest. That’s really crazy & sad.
I guess this too hot & sticky weather is just going to hang around a while longer.
I am in the process of deciding how many craft fairs I want to do this fall, 1 or 2? Not sure yet but have to decide soon.

Det...one of my complaints with FB was you couldn't set up a business page, it had to be linked to an individual. Somebody mentioned that you could now and your post confirms it. I'll be checking it out and getting the community association's page of my personal FB account. We're just waiting for you to tell us what the page is called so we can all check it out and promote you. I think you're wise to get your biz established before you move forward with the relationship. I think you'll feel better about it.

Mick...it was a cloudy cool morning here but that didn't last. Clouds moved on, sun came out and the temps skyrocketed. The colour in the conservatory looks great. What a great room. I think you probably caught that cold while at your FIL's but the good deed was needed. No cards today, that only happens on Monday's and Wednesday's so I actually did some work today. LOL I'm glad you live on a hill, wow! Are you seeing anything from that dam?

Pauly...I suffered from a stuffed up nose for about 2 years and kept thinking what's that all about. Don't know why it happened and it seemed to just clear up. Hope yours does too. So how did hubs get invited to Shirley's house. That's pretty cool.

Lav...no rain here either and got woken up by a tornado alert last night. It was just north of us and didn't amount to anything. Don't think I really got back to sleep so it's going to be an early night for me. I'm still getting calls for our Nov craft sale, it's been sold out since Feb.!

Mae everybody,PQ,he was just doing some plumbing work at Shirley's house haha,he's met a few famous people over the years David Cassidy back in the early 2000's and the drummer from Guns and Roses,the original one,and some others that I never heard of,wonder about my nose so yours just cleared up? I wonder if alcohol plays a roll cuz I had beers a few weeks ago?I ordered a nose spray with capsaicin and had high hopes,nada I'm done whining about it but I tell you it makes me feel half there,Mick,that's scary! Lav,you do such beautiful work but I understand about wanting to be retired much love to all and wishes for a great BF Friday!

wow us little band .....hiya ,how are we today then ?good I hope ..this crazy weather persists....its really hot today..The dam has held so far ,but its all the water coming off the hills that are causing concern..they have got a chinook ...(ppqp ...a real one not a wind ...)and they are dropping inabout 400 tons of stone,but that is only a temp fix.Im sure there will be a lot of fallout from it ..Still sneezing and snottering all over the place..oh well time for a holiday ha ha .

Still way too warm & humid for me but things have slightly improved. Storms all around us once again, nothing here.
I just heard on the news that July has been the hottest month in recorded history everywhere. Are we done yet? I hope so.
I am suddenly Golden Retriever sitting this weekend but it’s not so crazy now that there’s only one.

PQ, a tornado alert would prevent me from sleeping too, geez. Crazyass weather these days, huh?
Your craft show sounds very popular, that’s great!

Pauly, try going without dairy for a few days & I’ll bet your nose clears up!!! Mine did & a host of other problems too including inflamed joints & gut. Dairy is not as good for us as the Dairy Council would like us to believe. It’s certainly worth a try.

Pauly...thought he had some kind of in. LOL I guess if you live in a city where celebrity's live you're bound to interact with them. None that I know of here in Calgary. Wasn't drinking when I went through my stuffed up nose episode but we all know AL does all kinds of things to our body. I don't know what changed, I just woke up one day and thought, hey no stuffed nose.

Mick...glad you clarified the Chinook, I was trying to picture that. Man that's a big plane. Really hot today here, we hit 90C and unlike Pauly, I'm not hot weather lover. Ugh! Appears I'll be spending most of the weekend watering.

Lav...so grateful for no humidity. Storms all around me too but that can change on a dime. Yes, our craft fair is a very popular one. I've been dealing with a COPD flare up for about a week so this weather has been hard on me. A new drug (Trellegy Ellipta) has been approved in Canada recently and I've just been approved for free prescriptions. Can hardly wait till I get my first dose!

Have no idea what I'm going to eat in this heat, thinking JELL-O. Have a good one all....:smile:PPQP
