hiya all ...how are we today then?I see you are having quite a hard time over there..despite the wofflings of the lone ranger!!what a guy ..yep Il wear a mask ..despite the fact previously he said he wouldnt and didnt ...its raining over here at the moment ,but not heavily ..
hiya Lav ...hows you then? all good ..its amazing the difference being able to eat properly makes ..Im still on painkillers but its due to the crowbarring out of the tooth and a bit of symptomatic pain too..Ive got quite alot of tomatoes on my plants now ,just need to redden off .You take care of your selves ..dont lissen to that loony .

hiya Pauly ..cheer up mate ..the pubs open over here this weekend..I live 6 miles max from Rochdale ,apart from Leicester it has the highest spike from the virus ...if it goes pearshaped this weekend we will be back on a 2 week bang up .

Mae everybody, Mick love the pics not much to say, I stormed out of work yesterday cuz my other coworker was late so we opened a full 30+ minutes late and I was livid! My customer was complaining and it was just too much so I grabbed my shit and left, I hate tardy people and especially ones who act like it's no big deal I just can't stand for it, go today and probably be working with a dark cloud over but oh well, wishes for a great BF Thursday for us all!

I've got one that needs to come up but am putting it off just for that reason. One of the bridge players has decided she doesn't want to play anymore, she has her reasons. So no more daily game but I'm sure we'll come up with something. Don't want to go through bridge withdrawal.

Pauly...I hope today is ok for you. I don't blame you for storming out yesterday, sometimes you've just had enough!

Good evening Abbers,

Hot & humid, nothing new, haha! The only thing I did today was drive up to the Amish store to buy a big bag of loose apples - for the chickens. They love their apple snack, makes them happy.
I have two loaves of sourdough bread rising & will shove them in the oven soon. No plans for the 4th, oh well. Daughter & her group are going camping up north a few hours. Hope it’s cooler up there for them.

Mick, hope the healing continues.

Det, thanks! 47 years is a long time & things change quite a bit in that time. I tend to not have a fatalistic view on things where YB is the opposite. Everyone makes mistakes so we should be willing to forgive. I have a hard time with the forgetting part though, haha. But, after everything we’re still here.
Nice that you can get a change of scenery for the holiday weekend, sounds nice & I hope you enjoy yourselves

Pauly, don’t blame you for being pissed, you’re lucky you could just walk off. We couldn’t do that at the hospital or risk being charged with patient abandonment & lose our license to practice. Funny, I just had a chat with my friends on the same topic on Tuesday. We have a lot of fond & not so fond memories of our years working together. Hope today was much better for you.

Our state was put on mandatory mask wearing yesterday & all the whiners are whining, idiots. Isn’t a little discomfort worth it if you know you are saving lives? Maybe surgeons should stop wearing masks in the OR & see how the whiners deal, Lol

Mae everybody, Lav, I wish they would have mandated masks clear back in March! I remember when we just shut down and Kell was starting the grocery delivery gig and she was wearing a mask and people were poking fun and looking at her weird, that was end of March and wow how things have changed! PQ, hope all is well up there with you all, Mick and Det pain pills have different effects on everyone, I know hubs couldn't tolerate any of them when he broke his ankle a few years ago so just drank cheap beer for pain relief, hope everyone has a great BF Fryday, much love sent!

Hello wall how are we today then question mark I am doing this on my phone at the moment trying to get on the internet on my computer earlier but couldn't it's pouring down with rain here again today hopefully it will stop all the idiots going to the pub tomorrow this is the first day of opening for them tomorrow the whole country will be a mad house have been quite busy today, had to go to the shops up to sunny Rochdale I hardly saw anyone wearing a mask, despite the fact it has a massive positive rate for the virus still got the remains of where the dentist took the tooth out with regards to soreness hopefully that will go soon Amy comes down this weekend and she is on the scrounge for plants for her garden but in fairness I've got a few put aside for anyway rabbits are ok bit bored because they haven't been out colour however I put a couple of cardboard boxes in their hutch which they are happily destroying for all of you over the sea have a great weekend and and Independence Day if you feel safe then do it if you don't then obviously don't do it forget the Mount Rushmore party and the no social distancing crap and the lone Ranger you stay safe

Evening greetings Abbers,

Hot as hell at 97 with accompanying humidity, ugh! I chose to stay inside & enjoy the AC. Found a new vegan mac & cheese recipe today which turned out PDG, haha!
No weekend plans so I’ll just stay inside until it’s fit enough to go out. I did have to water plants out there but did it quickly!!

Pauly, how do we make the idiots understand that the sooner they comply with the mask mandate the sooner this shitshow will be over???
I am SO freaking tired of hearing people complain, just wear the damn mask!!!!

The event at Mount Rushmore is sad & offensive to the Sioux Tribe if I understand it correctly. The land was given to them & taken back, wth? morning all how are things today then? good I hope ...have a great 4th of July over there ,but share it with your friends and family those you can trust etc ..not the dimwits at mt rushmore ..The pubs open today here ...the first one was open at 6am this morning !!!they are calling it Britain's Independence day ...really ?oh well.Ive manged to get an emergency asppt at the dentist this afternoon at 3pm ..I think Ive got something called dry socket ..the blood hasnt congealed properly and the whole bottom where the tooth was pulled is agony ..Im on painkillers every 2 hours ...one bonus is Ive not eaten much ...

Hello to Det, Pie & Cyn!

Out of boredom we decided to take a ride this afternoon & ended up at the outlet stores. Surprisingly no one was therefor the big sales. We did go into a few shops, only 15 people permitted inside at a time & everyone was masked. Clothing on sale 50-70% off, nice
Stopped & fed our cat herd on the way home, haha! No parades or fireworks today, no family gatherings, kinda sad. Maybe next year, I hope!
