      Re: 4TH October

      Happy thursday ABeroooodles!

quicky post as I'm off to get blood drawn for testing.. always a tad nervous but I need to know what's going on in the body, if
      anything. ha!

Mick, cool pics! looking forward to more from your travels. Yep, it looks like you're likely headed to full incarceration mode so might
as well enjoy a tad of free movement. See the very latest meta analysis out of Edinborough? it's looking like Sweden is the only place that
got it right. That is, if anything can be 'right' when battling a moving, evolving virus that's so small you need an electron-tunneling microscope to even
      see. arg.

PPQ, sorry haven't read back far enough to see about your son. xoxoxo rough year is putting it mildly.

Lav, thanks for the words of encouragement. I'm working with a new, much bigger and better located art gallery now and in the process of figuring out my new
prints. They want them super big... like 4x6 feet and larger. the printing expenses are HUGE so it's a bit of a nail-biter.

Sam, a burro would be awesome in the mountains!

Pauly, anything fun in Vegas I haven't noticed? still on the lookout for fun things to do in a semi-locked-down city that wasn't super fun for me to begin with. agh.
we'll be ok. almost cool enough for Red Rock adventures again.

ok... one last chug of water and it's pokey time.

      be well loves!

        Re: 4TH October

        Good evening all!

Nice day here again, grateful for the cool air
Got my hair cut so I feel human again, haha! The craft show organizer contacted all of us to see if we could do a repeat show on Halloween. Yikes, I better get busy stitching!

PQ, wasting time doing nothing is a skill, LOL
I hope your son feels a bit brighter today, was thinking about him. I’m not sure which age group is having a harder time with this virus, possibly it’s the young adults. There’s so much at stake & no clear end to this mess.

Pauly, I had my hair cut by a new girl today. She said she just turned 40 but she was full of energy, haha! I guess you just don’t see many happy people these days. A day off from work is good, take it when you can, it’s good for the soul!

Det, I can’t even imagine a 4x6” print, wow!!! Who prints stuff that size?
I hope you can get one done & show us
Good luck with the blloodwork, just scheduled myself for Nov 11 for the same.

Mick, did you try the whitewater rafting yet?? Be very careful!! I hope you two have a blast!!

Hello to Sam, Pie & Cyn.
Have a nice night everyone, time to put the chicks to bed.

        Lav

          MAE ALL...

Pauly...good for you and Kell taking yesterday off. Unplanned holidays are the best. I know what you mean about breaking your ties with work, well sort of. When my old boss was sick I spent many hours covering his ass and keeping the place going. I loved it and people couldn't understand why I did it. With the new boss, not so much. LOL Son has been doing a lot more talking lately so that's a good sign.

Mick...I didn't realize you had actually left on your trip so now the pictures make more sense. Thought you were getting flooded out down the block. LOL Where are you? I like the pics and would love to visit. I'll wait till all the Covid stuff is over so I can camp out at your place.

Det...glad to see your post and that all is well. Must be the time of year for blood work, doing mine is on Tuesday. Wow, 4X6' never thought of the cost of printing those. At least it sounds like you're happy with the new art gallery. Go slow if you can and see how it goes.

Lav...hair cut is on my radar this weekend. LOL I'm surprised you're game to do another show so soon but good for you. Quit typing and get sewing. LOL You know time wasting really is a skill, the prog coord has it down pact! LOL My son does seem a bit brighter, I have a feeling a lot of his friends reached out after that post. I'm know having a job to go to has kept me out of the doldrums.

Have a couple of new series premieres taped so I know what I'm doing tonight. Have a good evening all....:smile:PPQP

Mae everybody, PQ, I'm so happy to hear your son is perking up hope you enjoyed your shows, you know I've had this Dish network with DVR for 9 years and I've never recorded anything! Can't figure it out but Brady did when we first got it so I've still got shows poppin up to be recorded that a 13 year old boy would watch haha, Lav, yay on the craft sale, also do some masks with fall themes if you haven't, I know by halloween I'm ready for shirts with turkeys and leaves and stuff, maybe some 'i voted' ones would be cute Mick nice pics enjoy your adventures, Det, my fun is within my 4 walls unfortunately, hubs drives all day, I've been driving most of the day so when we're off we're truly off and don't go anywhere, wow that sounds pathetic and boring but we have things here to keep us entertained enough I guess, the owner called Kell pissed yesterday cuz he wants the sign in sheet back, Kell explained that having people sign in can spread covid and that's why we make appointments, he said "so what you work for state board now"? She said no but that's what they told us, also he says more people can wait inside, she told him no, he said it's been 6 months they're not as strict now-ugh hello!!!! I hope he does do all that and I hope he fucken gets fined!!!! Sorry I'm just very, very irritated with him, that is just so dumb to me, especially now I think we need to keep our guards up more, this virus is too unpredictable and of course I like things to stay open but we can't just be all cavalier about it either, thanks for letting me vent sorry for cussing but I was sooooo livid when Kellz told me that, ho hum, much love to all and wishes for a great BF Fryday as Mick would say!
I have too much shit to do today and tomorrow to drink:sohappy:

I'm taking care of the "tomorrow me"
Drinkin won't help a damn thing! Will only make me sick for DAYS and that ugly, spacey dumb feeling-no thanks!

Hiya all how are we then ..good I hope. Had a great night in the van.. there's nothing like listening to therain while all cosy.went out for a walk this morning.. got caught in a hailstorm on the way back and soaked. There were quite a few people up there too ..a nice climb 580 metres and brilliant views. Already had lots of ideas to "improve "the van but been told no..madam doesn't want any of my home made shelves or tables..here are some pics I took apologies to those who have seen them

                MAE ALL...

Pauly...oh my poor virgin eyes. Just kidding, don't post an apology. LOL Some people just don't get it. Sounds like he's one of those the rules are for everyone else type of guys. If he does allow more people in and brings back the sign in I'd be making an anonymous call to the powers that be. We're talking about your safety. Your life kinda sounds like mine. Work, home, veg.

Mick...I can look at the pics over and over so now worries. I can just picture you and Julie snuggled up listening to the rain. And of course you have ideas for improvement. Haahaa

Lav...I beat you to the post, been awhile since that's happened. Had a great no drama day. Boss not in, coworker not in so the childcare director and I went to the thrift store and I scored 2 pants, 3 shirts and 3 sweater for $24. That's my winter wardrobe done and dusted.

Shout out to the rest of the gang. I am really looking forward to this long weekend. Think I'll make Baby Back Ribs instead of Turkey for our Thanksgiving dinner. Have a good nigh all....:smile:PPQP

                  Greetings all!

Good weather still but I think some hurricane rain will be making it’s way here in the next few days. Oh well.
Went & bought the 4`th 50 lb bag of food for the baby chickens. They can really eat, haha! They’re all happy & healthy so I’m happy.
I’m on a mission now to get as much stitched up before the end of the month. A few hours in the afternoon & another few hours after dinner should do it, I think.

PQ, glad to hear your son is doing better.
Get the hair cut - it makes a big difference

Pauly, I just finished texting with a friend who still works in the hospital. She said case #s are up but not too bad. The news says this is the beginning of the 2nd wave. You & Kellz do what you have to do to stay safe. Screw the owner, obviously he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I make my appointment online & wait until they text me to come inside the shop. Feels very safe!

Mick, your pics are great, that’s a lot of hill walking I think. Have fun!!!

Hello to Det & Sam, Pie & Cyn!

Have a n ice night all!

Happy Fun-Food Friday ABerooooos! (that's what we call fridays here) so tonight... homemade kale/cheese ravioli
with crazy marinar sauce that's been on the stove a few hours already.

playing around with photo's of the cat and got an interesting one:

picture: Shared album - London Lewis - Google Photos

Pauly, I can totally relate to wanting to 'crap-out-in-place'

Lav, haircut and happy chicks. can't beat that.

PPQ, how do you do your ribs? sounds great.

Mick, I'm adventuring vicariously with you! very nice.

visited an art print shop in town where all the big-shot photographers go. very impressive.
They had a ginormous print on the table and I recognized it... what a small world. I've met the photographer
and been to his gallery. Mario Basner (originally from Germany). so apparently I went to the really upscale place for printing
and the prices reflect that. about 700 bucks to print one of my pieces. owie! gotta think about that one.

great meditation last night as always.

otay... off to clean and prep the veggies.

                    be well loves!

Mae everybody, wow Det $700? Making money isn't cheap I guess, what's the saying that it takes money to make money, I never understood it until I started working kind of for myself, Lav, exactly! Your salon is following the rules the way they were put out and the way it makes sense, sure the numbers of cases are gonna go up and down but it's the down we want, I feel if this guy lost so much money while we were shut down then he should just sell, he's too old for this anyways anymore and just doesn't care until he realizes how broke he is then freaks out, PQ, ribs sound amazing, Happy Canadian Thanksgiving! Good score on the winter wardrobe too Mick, look at you always looking to improve your surroundings haha, glad you're enjoying your getaway, the pics are absolutely gorgeous! Had another of those mornings where I had to make myself get up or else I'd sleep too long grrrr, much love to the gang and wishes for a great BF Saturday!

                          Good evening Abbers,

The Devil’s arse Mick? That’s a good one! Pics are great & I’m glad you are enjoying yourself.

Pauly, trying to find a way to make money & retain your health these days is not easy. I worry a bit about my daughter back at the hospital working but I know she’s as careful as possible, my son too who has had several unexpected instances of covid exposure on the job. Just keep doing what you’ve been doing & don’t listen to the old man, ugh!

Det, wow that was more for a big print than I expected but I imagine it’s very high quality. If you sold 1 print I guess you would feel more secure. Isn’t that the way with everything? I didn’t feel like messing with dinner so I tossed the diced chicken breast, pasta, tomato puree & a whole load of homegrown garlic, onion & Italian seasoning in the IP & dinner was ready in 11 minutes, Lol

PQ, what’s up with you today. I think I beat you here today, haha!

Hello to Sam, Pie & Cyn!

                          Have a nice night all!
