Greetings Abbers & Happy July 4th!

Had a nice day here, sunny & no rain
Daughter & family just left a little while ago. It was so nice to finally have them here again. The food was good & we’re all stuffed, lots of leftovers so I won’t be cooking for a few days, yay!
Neighbors shooting off fireworks again tonight, thought last night was enough.

Mick, love the train pic! I hope the weather cleared up for your bimble.
I’m sure you’re happy & even amazed with your 9 years AF. That’s how I feel about myself too, it can be done after all Congrats again & wishing you many more years of freedom.

Hello to Cyn, Det, PQ, Pauly, Sam & Pie. I hope everyone is well & happy.

    Have a nice night all!

          MAE ALL...

Mick...Happy Belated 9th and Happy Birthday toady. Looks like you did get great weather for your day and thanks for all the pics.

Lav...sounds like your 4th was a winner as well. Calgary lifted their mask bylaw today but I think I'll still be wearing mine. At least until I can get my second vaccine anyways.

Boss is back and got me working on yet another project. Foot is healing slowly will decide on Wednesday if it needs another look at.

Shout out to the rest of the gang. Have a great day....:smile:PPQP

            Good evening friends,

No fireworks, no company today - just us oldies & animals/birds. No rain either so it’s been sunny & very warm. We’re heading into 90+ for the next few days which means more thunderstorms later this week. SOS, haha!!

Sam, good to see you popping in

Mick, thanks for the pics, awesome place. But I’m wondering do you have any alligators in that swampy looking lake? The water’s edge reminds me of places in FL where the alligators love company!!!!
I never knew owls could be trained for a show like that, pretty cool

PQ, how long do you have to wait for your 2nd vaccine? We had to wait 1 month then we’re considered completely safe 2 weeks after the 2nd shot.
I hope your healing continues. Can you text a pic of your foot to your doc’s office? That’s what we’re doing here these day, kinda cool, saves an extra trip

Hello to Cyn, hope the holiday weekend has gone well. I’ll pray for some rain for you western dwellers.

Hello to Pauly, Det & Pie.

            Have a nice night all!

              Mae all -

Great pics, Mick, thanks for them.... I wasn't sure if the train pic was your model or the real thing!

Lav, so happy you for some family time-- and have leftovers! Woot! Try to stay cool...

PPQ, I like Lav's suggestion for your foot - easy Peasy! I hope your boss keeps a lid on too many new projects...

Lots of working over the weekend and today. But now I'm going up to see the sunset from my favorite spot, where hubs' plaque is... the world is pretttybfrom there...

              Wishing all well -

                Greetings friends!

3 H weather is back - hot humid & hazy. Supposed to have storms later but tomorrow is supposed to be just as hot, oh well.
Not much going on with me, just trying to keep my birds from overheating out in the 100+ degree weather, watermelon helps a lot

Cyn, hope you’re getting a breather today after all the weekend work!
Glad you have found a comforting spot to gather yourself & thoughts

Mick, the train looked great & reminds me of the one we used to take the grandsons on in Strasburg, Lancaster County. Of course that train had the Thomas engine, haha!

PQ, how’s it going today? How about you Det?

Pauly, don’t be shy, stop by & say hello/

Hello to Sam & Pie as well.

                Have a nice night all!

                  MAE ALL...

Lav...I'm eligible for my 2nd shot, just can't get an appointment. Went to the pharmacy today but the Pfizer shipments have been delayed once again and I'm not going to switch to Moderna. I've got enough going on with this foot inflammation and the anti biotics not working. Back to the doctors tomorrow and she may suggest an IV boost. I think my biologic interferes with the anti biotics. We've been enjoying a cool down the last couple of days, I couldn't do 100F!

TG...we still can't email our doc but I do have pics. The boss wants a meeting tomorrow to go over everything that needs to be done before he goes on holidays. Everything I haven't finished is because I'm waiting on him and I'll be telling him that. He scheduled a meeting for tomorrow then changed the time. He knows I'm back to the Doc so bugger him! Hope you enjoyed the sunset yesterday.

Mick...sounds like you're having a great time and for the most part the weather has been holding up for you.

Time to get this foot elevated again. Hope the rest of the gang is doing ok. Have a good night all...:smile:PPQP

Lav, over 100 and humid? Oh no... that sounds terrible. I bet your plate is full, just keeping the chickens cool... good luck!

PPQ, hey, wasn't your boss just on vacay? And he's going again? Shoot - hope you find a Pfizer vaccine soon... I remember in the spring in CT it was also hard... then suddenly the flood gates opened... hope that happens for you.

Mick, your travels look so,lovely - hoping that the weather is holding for you...

Hello Det, Sam, Pauly... hope all is well.

                    Take care!

                        Good evening friends,

Yep, over 100 again today - too hot, yuck.
Never did get a storm last night, there may be one tonight then Friday night we get the tropical storm named Elsa. It’s working it’s way up the coast from FL as we speak. Waiting to hear from a few friends in residence down there, hope they’re OK

PQ, sorry your foot is still not healed. I’d say your foot supersedes your boss any day of the week!!!(Screw him)
Hope you can track down the vaccine soon. It just feels better to have it done. Good luck with the doc!

Cyn, so so hot here. You’re not missing a thing including a tropical storm, oh boy! I did lose 1 chicken over the weekend but she had been unwell for quite a while. Made her as comfortable as I could.
Not much we can do about this stinking weather if our politicians keep fighting over spending the necessary money to fix things!!

Mick, you sure are making the most of your trip. Thanks for the pics, I appreciate them Not a chance of me going anywhere soon but I would if I could.
Keep on having a good time.

Det, I’m seeing your FB & Instagram photos - great job!!!

Pauly, give us a quick check in.

                        Hello to Sam & Pie.

Lav, yepper... I'm trying to market and 'reach' on social and other places as best i can. It's a mad scramble as a new solo entrepreneur in the area but I'm bidding on a pretty big commercial job
that I got a request to quote just last night. fingers and toes crossed.... feeling for you in the dreadful heat. We've been pretty lucky here. It's been hot but thankfully dry.

Mick, that train ride looks spectacular, I'm sure it will be big fun.

sorry to not be caught up here... hope all are well and kicking along ok. I'm prepping for yet another biz networking live event so I've got to get my doodoo together.

refuge recovery and meditation tonight which will be a nice change of pace.

thankfully things are pretty calm on the homefront and the 3 of us are communicating well. yay!

                              Good evening friends,

I was unexpectedly busy today having gotten up with a hugely swollen face on one side, along with ear pain & some extremely sensitive lower front teeth. I called & begged for an appointment with the dentist. He looked, took an xray, gave me a week’s worth of Amoxicillin & sent me right over to the Endodontic surgeon. He found the cause, one of my lower front teeth had somehow become infected. He said he could either pull the tooth or do a root canal. I am fond of my front tooth so I chose the root canal to try to save the tooth. I’ve had a few of them done over the years but this was was easy &almost painless. I guess it’s all in the technique. So now I have to do saltwater mouth rinses & take the antibiotic as ordered & pray for a positive outcome

Det, I’ll keep my fingers & toes crossed for you too! Your future is looking good & you deserve that
Glad the family unit is calm, that’s a really big help!!

Mick, glad you turned back & didn’t get stuck in some yucky swamp mud or something haha!
Thanks for sharing your vacation with us

Hello to Cyn & PQ, hope you both had a good day.

                              Hello to Pauly, Sam Pie.

I’m going to take a quick walk around the property & make sure we haven’t left anything outside that could become a projectile when the storm & wind picks up later tonight.
                              Have a good night everyone!
