Re: Sunday 15th
Greetings friends,
The clouds parted & we now have sunshine - go figure Lol
Keeping an eye on Hurricane Henri which is barreling it’s way to the east coast & due to make landfall near New England. Really getting sick of this but what can we do? We ar enow over 48” of rain for the year. Pauly I’d love to send you at least half.
PQ, no need to apologize for taking some much needed time for yourself. I’m glad you’re getting some perspective & making a plan to improve the situation.
The whole world seems to be going to sh*t in one way or another, it’s overwhelming to say the least. I agree 100% having a clear head helps us handle these things much better. You take care & enjoy the rest of your time off.
Mick, I sure hope your back is in recovery mode. I don’t like strong pain meds either after the initial injury. Rest, careful exercise & stretching will help you get back to normal.
The Amish are such go-getters where it comes to bringing in the $$. The generally know what people like & will buy so they fill their shops accordingly. You’ll never meet a group of harder working people. Hope you have some dry weather coming your way.
Pauly, sorry to hear the boys are sick. Even during non-pandemic times it doesn’t take long to spread stuff around elementary schools. I’ve always called them germ factories. I hope they are feeling better very soon. Somehow or the other we have to find a way to keep our heads out of depression-ville. We have all the tools we need, just have to remember to use them, right?
Cyn, missing hearing from you, hope everything is OK.
Hello to the crazy busy Det.
Hello to Sam & Pie.
Be well everyone & have a nice night!

Re: Sunday 15th
MAE ALL...
Mick...no rain here today but overcast and cool, very nice! I'm glad the pills are helping but I hear you about staying on them for too long. Which reminded me of my foot/ankle, all swelling has stopped. Wonder if any of it was related to my arthritis and will fill my rheumatologist in when I see her in October. Let me make it perfectly clear, I am not organizing anything, for anyone, at this time. LOL The workshops have been very helpful, I'm feeling much better and have a plan to start living a more balanced life.
Pauly...sorry to hear LOU has RSV, that's something I'd be worried about if I was raising children during this pandemic. Hope he is ok. Whooping cough is a hard one to deal with and I hope Romeo is doing better. I felt the same way, during the lockdown you knew what to do and now with the various reopening rules you don't know what to do. I have felt hopeless before and was not going there again, hence the reason I reached out for some help.
Lav...even with the rain we've had we're still in drought conditions. Ranchers are starting to cull their herds as there's no feed for them. Very sad situation. Yup, it was time to reach out. I just needed some help with how to "start the change" if you know what I mean. I was so fed up with the non directives from the boss and him leaving for 3 weeks I just thought well here you go it's all yours now. I did get a text from him today asking if I've heard from any of the senior fitness people as there has been some misinformation going around. Just replied nope, and thought the prog coord is at it again. LOL
TG...hope you're getting some much needed downtime too.
Shout out to Pi, Det and Sam.
Have a good night all...:smile:PPQP

Re: Sunday 15th
Good evening friends,
It’s actually decent enough to sit outside for a change, haha!! I think we’re all weather weary after this summer, geez!
My son & his family are due home any minute & I’m glad they got out of NC before the hurricane makes it’s appearance. I think NJ will have some storm effects but it now has it’s eye on Long Island, NY for a landfall. Then it’s supposed to head for Boston & interior areas.
PQ, I remember my mom with a good deal of foot & ankle swelling with her RA but it was bilateral. I think you only have one involved, am I right? I was thinking about the stress fractures I had in my left foot a few years back, damn they were painful & it took forever for my foot to return to normal size. If you haven’t had an xray maybe you could talk someone into ordering one for you, just to see.
I’m glad your spirits are lifting & having an action plan is a big deal . I wouldn’t let those jerks from the office interrupt my time off either, Lol.
Mick, I have it on good authority that your wallet is now on life support, haha!!! I’ll keep my mouth shut & let you tell everyone why in your own time!
We’re supposed to have rain the next 2 days so I’ll send it right over to you so you don’t run out, Lol.
Pauly, thinking of you & your grandkids, hope they’re feeling a bit better!
Hello to Cyn, Det, Sam & Pie.
I hope everyone has a nice night!
