Mae all - honestly, I don't know how these days work... I keep putting one foot in front of the other, and thinking I have checked in here, then I see that I haven't- so weird. Seems like I am having a prolonged "out of body" experience without realizing it ... lol. The good news is that the tittle has cleared, and a friend will take me to the DMV tomorrow morning to register the car, and then hopefully they'll give me something to put on the car to let me drive until I get the real plates. So, one thing hopefully sorted! Then will work with a client for the rest of the day, which always lifts my spirits.

Mick, glad the tum is better... enjoy the trains! I was wondering if you could use those cans of compressed air to help get the dust off of the delicate pieces.

PPQ - what a heartbreaking story about the accountant's family. Sending light. Glad you caught site of your son... I know you must worry sometimes.

Lav, good idea on the bike! Hope it works out... we all owe all nurses a debt of gratitude for all those hours on their feet... makes aging hard... glad that you are seeing your daughter more!!

Heya ABeroooos! gotta be brief as I'm in full crazy mode with another 3 shoots today, which is grand and a huge relief in many ways but truly a scramble as they
are quite geographically disparate. Sounds like some good things in AB land, combined with the daily frustrations of we the 'tax cows', which I can fully relate to.
I did make it to a proper Buddhist sangha last Sunday which was a really inspiring experience....hopefully I can make it this Sunday, though I have a shoot then also. oh well, I'll
figure it out.

hiya all ...just a quickie ..thats quickie not quiche ...been busy today in the loft avec les trains .I couldnt work out ie forgotten thecodes for the smoke generator, firebox and the headlights on the loco ..there are loads of combinations but eventually sussed it .So need to tidy up .just nipped to the shops. 4pm and it is really dark ,the clocks go back this weekend so it will be worse .
Well done on the shoots Det...think we should call you Panda ..

Lav.....Tried using one of those exercise bikes but I just couldn't get anywhere.

Mick...don't you have those codes written down? Glad you got them figured out. I like TG's compressed air suggestion except you'll probably spend hours trying to find all the people again. LOL If the clocks go back this weekend won't that make it better. An extra hour of sunlight?

Had a good day including a trip to Costco. Then I got an email from the company where I ordered my grandson’s Halloween costume. They have changed delivery from 3 days to 10-20 days, crap. So we took him to the nearest Halloween store which happens to be near the Costco we had just been to in Delaware, haha! He has a costume now & he’s happy - Halloween has been saved.

PQ, I sure hope you don’t get a major storm, ugh. We’re in for more rain & wind Friday just like we had a few days ago.
Glad you son made an appearance in good` time.

I can only imagine all that’s swirling thru your mind these days, being a little off your game is completely OK.
I sure did beat up my feet during my career even though I always wore good shoes. I think some of my discomfort is due to arthritis too, oh well. Looking forward to the bike, it should help.

Det, Congrats on all the new work friend - that’s a good` thing
Take a little time to breathe & refocus, even if it’s only a few minutes, it helps.

Mick, hope the storm isn’t too bad. I hate losing power even though we have the generator.
Like Cyn mentioned I use those cans of compressed air to clean the. Dust & threads out of my embroidery machines, they work great

hiya all. How are we then? hope all is well with yall. We are in the middle of a pretty big storm atm with more to follow ,flood warnings all over the shop. We are away for a long weekend this next Friday coming ,so hopefully the weather will change if not ..Julie has always said she would teach me how to play chess ,I got as far as draughts that's it .both rabbits are in too ,and they weren't even interested in going out .We were going metal detecting this weekend not going to happen .

Yes, well Title was not an issue, but ... just seconds before the DMV person issued my Registration... (she had the license plates in her hand...) she was tagged to not issue the ref because of some tax dispute with my precious hometown Tax Assessor. Seriously!? After I had arranged for my sweet friend to drive me there.... so . Onward...

Other issues are pushing me, but my mind seems tired...

Storm dropping lots of rain & messing with the power a bit, ho hum.
Grateful I got the chickens inside their house early today so I don’t have to deal with that now.

Mick, yep my grandson is thrilled with his phantom costume. The weather is supposed to be good for trick or treating Sunday evening/
My father used to sit & play chess with my older brothers but refused to teach me. Why? Because I”m JUST A GIRL
I still get angry over that stuff like that but can’t change history can I? I sure hope you have good weather for your next trip, nothing like what we’re having now. We’re pushing 1.5” now & it’s not showing any signs of stopping.

Cyn, I’m so sorry about the tax issue. Funny how criminals get away with stealing millions but us everyday people get tagged for a few bucks.
No wonder you’re feeling tired. Rest up this weekend, take a break, you deserve one :hug:

Lav...good job on saving Halloween! How frustrating to have to drive all the way back but it sounds like it was worth it. We didn't get the forecasted snow, it just rained off and on all day. Hope that doesn't mean it's pushed back till Sunday.

Mick...hopefully if you put up with the current weather you can have great weather for next weekend. So draughts would be what we call checkers? The two are definitely not the same. I think the call on detecting is a good one.

TG...well that just sucked! I bet your mind is tired. Like you said Onward...to the light.

Frustrating day at work waiting for the ex-boss to send the zoom link for the AGM announcement. He's like a bad penny I just can't get rid of. I didn't get it until 4pm then had to mass email to the membership and update the website. Of course the website decided to fight with me! So I ended up staying till my scheduled quit time, first time in a long time. I think I'll tell the new boss my work hours are 8-4 instead of 9-5 LOL.

When you think about it it over the span of our lives so far there have been masses of changes in the world of medicine technology fashion Customs attitudes social behaviours tons of them. I saw some blue eggs for sale in the shop this morning comma advertised as free range with golden yolks picking your brains now how come the shells were blue. Is it some sort of food you give them? Good evening friends,

Clouds & sun but no rain today. Really don’t need any more rain, we’ve had over 4” this week, geez. Over 65” for the year so far.
My grandson was dropped off here earlier with the plan of staying overnight. Something changed & now he’s on his way home. I think his parents are having car issues, oh well. The bank of Mom & Dad closed many years ago so they will have to figure it out, Lol

PQ, we have been trying to be helpful to the grandkids & hope they grow up remembering that we came thru for them. So extra trips & a little cash is all they need from us right now except for a whole lot of food, haha! Glad you didn’t get any snow. I heard that we are getting a ‘cold front from Canada’ on Tuesday - better not be any snow involved, haha!!
When the new boss is finally installed make yourself clear & communicative with them concerning your hours & job responsibilities. Starting out on a clean slate is the best

I have had blue egg layers in my flock over the years. It’s the breed of the chicken that makes blue, green or even pink eggshells & has nothing to do with what you feed them. They tend to be kinda crazy & flighty though, haha! I’ve found them walk around on the roof of the chicken house - not good!!

Hello to busy Det, Sam and Pie... hope all is well.

I put in a long "figure out all the nasties and cancel the things you can" yesterday. My dear husband apparently would just open a new Netflix account when he couldn't log into one or another... so there are a few of those to cancel... downsized our Verizon account (I think), etc. Just trying to get a handle on finances before I put a down payment on an apartment and pay for a move. Ah well, it must be done... I think my days of "floating around" are done, at least for now. I miss my stuff - I didn't keep much, but the things that are left are precious...
