    Re: July 3rd

    Greetings friends,

Well the rain finally stopped & it’s actually feeling a touch cooler & less humid. Thank goodness!
My younger grandson is here enjoying some peace, free food & dessert haha. I will be returning him to his owners in about an hour.

Mick, I heard BJ got the boot today! At least your folks do the right thing & kick these idiots out when they misbehave. Here they just let them stay on & on……
Hope the new campsite is a good one & you’re still having fun

PQ, glad to hear the boss was honest with you about his inexperience, most won’t do that. Working. Together you’ll get things straightened out.
Having a full on stampede right now is not what your city needs but….I guess the show must go on. Hope it’s not too crazy.

Hello to Pauly & Cyn, hope yuo are both doing OK.

Hello to Sam & Det, hope you guys are OK as well.

    Have a nice night all!

      MAE ALL...

Well Lav it was my turn for the skies to open up and dump on us. We are currently under a tornado watch, one touched down just north of us. This storm seems to be moving pretty fast, I can see blue skies on the horizon.

Mick... had a look at Looe on google, I haven't heard of it, what a lovely place. Hope it doesn't get too hot and glad you've got your hat on. No thanks don't want your blonde haired narcissist, our black haired one is enough.

Lav...peace, free food and dessert I'm in! Glad it's feeling less humid for you today, it was very humid here this morning. It does feel like we're actually working together now and you're right we'll get things figured out. I was able to play bridge this afternoon and I'm off tomorrow so the events this weekend are all on the boss.

Waves to Pauly, Sam, TG and Det...hope all is well with everyone. Have a peaceful evening all...:smile:PPQP

        Re: July 3rd

Mae all - sorry to be away!! I have a house-mate here for a week, and getting everything settled for her and doing a bit of work for myself has taken all my time (except for a few nice walks...)

Mick Congrats, and thx for all the wonderful pics...

Lav, here’s hoping things dry out and behave!

PPQ, good luck with solving problems and training in the management. Nice to hear that he is open to admitting mistakes.

Pauly, sending hugs. Yes, having something productive to do is a very good thing. It is a long process... hang onto yourself and your sense of life...

Not sure if I have made the right decision to come here, but doing my best to maintain boundaries... we’ll see. I can always pack up and leave...

Sending care and comfort to all -
        TG

          Re: July 3rd

Hello and how are we today then? Hope everyone is doing ok. I am doing this on my phone so apologies for any miss spelling quotes or crazy English! It is very hot here today, 27 degrees. We went into Polperro today comma.ai lovely little village, I remember we were going to buy a house here some 22 years ago that was our pipedream when we retired. Glad to say that is now changed, it certainly wouldn't suit nowadays. I love my village but I'm glad I don't live here it is absolutely jammed with tourists, the main industry here is tourist so obviously prices reflect that. On seeing that though we had a lovely day here. I did a bit of climbing around the rocks, some lovely scenery and see was absolutely crystal clear. We are sitting outside the van tonight having a barbecue, that is of course unless it rains. Last night we watched about 12 or 13 rabbits playing around the van lovely to see but Julie says she will check before we leave to make sure I haven't stashed any.
Hope everyone has a good weekend..stay safe

            Re: July 3rd

            Good evening friends,

Hot & sunny as usual but rain to move in tonight & all day tomorrow, oh well.
I have plenty to do so I won’t go crazy or anything haha!!

PQ, I don’t like tornados in the forecast - geez! Glad nothing developed close to you.
Hope your day off has been good

            Cyn, good to see you!
I hope the Tahoe crowd doesn’t try to take advantage of your kindness. If they get to be too much pack up & disappear. I certainly know I would at this point in my life
            Take care of you too!

Mick, still loving all the pics, thanks!
So you had thoughts of becoming one of those hill dwellers? Lools so cool but I know the tourists would be annoying. Keep on having a good time.

Pauly, hope you’re doing OK, check in when you can

            Sam, are you doing OK?

I have togo chase my chickens inside the coop before the rain gets here.
            Have a nice night all!

              Mae all -

I'm on my computer (for a change) I really am not fond of posting via my phone, but sometimes it's the easiest thing. Just assume that I really "like" all your posts - I can't figure out how to do that on the phone.

Have done some walks, and last evening went to a near-by town (Truckee, CA - mainstreet still looks like an old-timey western town). There was a Craft and Whatever Fair there - mobbed with people, lots of dogs (all well behaved!). It was a little chaotic for me, but good to get out -- I would never have gone except for my friend, who is a great crafter...

I'm doing some things for the festival - only things that I want to do. You may remember that a major patron and early believer of the festival was the woman who passed away when I was out here in April. Next week is a Celebration of Life evening in her honor, so I am doing a little stuff to help make that a meaningful evening. Also the main "thank you" note writer... by hand. I really believe in thanking people, and giving them a little ink on paper. Today I had an organizing session with a person here in town. So, all seems to be okay, though sadness still does creep in... a lot of years of memories...

Lav, here's hoping you didn't get wet chasing your chickens inside!
Sam, are you still healing? Things okay? (Besides the truck hunt...)
Mick, awesome pictures as usual, thank you for sharing.
PPQ - how did the boss do on his weekend "on"?
Pauly - sending love and support.

Hello and cheers to all dropping by...

                  Re: July 3rd

                  Greetings friends,

I think we’re getting all the damp weather here so Mick can have a nice trip, haha! Yep it’s damp but it’s only in the 70’s for a change.

Cyn, glad you are only taking on what you want to do. Of course you’re dealing with lots of memories there, be kind to yourself
The younger chickens are getting the hang of things. Now when they see me heading out at 8:30 pm they KNOW it’s time to go inside!! All that is good too because I really don’t want to have to walk in their muddy yard & chase them.

Mick, hate losing a post, ugh. I’m so happy your trip has been so nice & thanks again for sharing all the cool pics.

                  PQ, how was your Saturday?

Pauly, thinking of you & know you have a memorial service coming up

                  Sam, doing OK friend?
                  Det, check in!!!

                  Have a nice night all!
