Hiya all how are we doing?better than the tory party. See Liz truss has resigned..I think I am 7th in line!!!.
We are down at somers Wood camp site. Not far from Birmingham. Took the rabbits �� to their hotel this morning it is pouring down with rain here but hopefully it will change. We are off to the show tomorrow.

Sunny days here but down near the freezing mark every night, good for sleeping at least.
Luna & remaining two kittens seem to be fine, enjoying their heated cat home . I had a thought today - what if one of the two older kittens (from the March batch) are responsible for the missing kittens? Would they feel jealousy & make them disappear when Luna is not looking or something? Hmm. I need to do some research on that & I also need someone to come over & trap those two older kittens.

Mick, sorry about the rain but glad you were able. To get away. I heard about the PM resigning first thing this morning, wow. So how come Trump never resigned after he messed up over a 4 year period?? The republicans had his back no matter what he did or didn’t do - that’s the reason
Hope the tooth situation is going OK. Mine isn’t bothering me nearly as much. Today so I’ll just leave it alone, haha!

Cyn, great you were able to reconnect with your friend! I’m. Sure you must be tired, at least mentally after dealing with 3 different clients today. Save some of your day for yourself too :hug:

Wow, that was a long day, my feet are killing me. We have a big event in the hall tonight and they were here at 2pm to start setting up and organizing. They were a lovely group but sure kept me on my toes. I have never been blessed by so many people before. LOL

TG...dealing with emotions can be exhausting as I'm sure you know. I hope you got a good sleep last night. It was nice you were able to start your day with a friend.

Mick...glad you were able to get away, sorry about the rain. How did the van do? Enjoy yourself at the show tomorrow. I don't think you have enough to do, I hear there's a job opening. LOL

Lav...I hope you're having to do all this stitching because you sold out of most of your stuff last time. Well, you can have that thought, I on the other had have a different one. LOL Do you think those two kittens are still around? I'm glad Luna and the kittens are remaining in their heated cat house, less worries for you. I did end up having a fabulous day even if it was exhausting.

Good morning everybody. How are we today then hope all is well. Just getting ready to go to the Motorhome Show full stop had a great sleep last night it was blowing and raining but it was nice and toasty in the van full stop the added attraction with this site is that there are really bird friendly and there are bird feeders dotted all over the place it's amazing watching the little blue tits and goldfinches flying about in the early morning. Also had some moles and believe it or not a Lapwing this morning to. Hope everyone is doing well well, this is going to be a long day but hopefully get some ideas etc full stop the beginning of the weekend and so so hopefully everyone will have a great weekend and full stop the latest news over here is that Boris Johnson has put his name in the hat yet again be Prime Minister. That's kind of like saying Donald Trump coming back. We shall see full stop considering these people are supposed to represent the democracy of this country it is unbelievable. Would you see the article on the eco morons or protesters as I like to be called in Germany? They glued themselves to the floor in a Volkswagen factory in protest so the bosses shut the factory switch the lights out and turn the heating at off and went home there are no complaining that they didn't have access to food or contact anyone this world has gone crazy take care and have a great dayScreenshot_20221020-175358_Facebook.jpg

Greetings friends,

Woke up to a missing Luna & her 2 kittens, so frustrating. Finally located them but the kittens were in a small tunnel in the stacked woodpile & we couldn’t reach them. Came back later & found one kitten had been moved again & one remaining but we were able to reach her. Brought her in the house until Luna showed up on the deck again. I put them both in the heated cat house for now. I went to the pet store & picked up some kitten milk replacement powder & a bottle in case I feel the need to feed this remaining kitten at some point. In other words i got absolutely nothing on my list done today haha!

Yes, I am replacing the things I sold at the last craft event, sold a whole lot that day. Hope you have a good weekend!

I’ve been trying to catch some of the BBC news & I seriously hope BJ doesn’t make a comeback. The thought of Trump doing that makes me sick

MAE ALL....It's the weekend. :yay: Am I looking forward it. This week felt like a month. One of my bothersome renters is back this weekend so yup, turning the phone off.

Mick...glad the van is keeping you nice and toasty and that you got a good sleep last night. Hope the weather was better for your outing today. Our weather has turned and it's supposed to start snowing tonight. It was raining this morning and has been dull and gloomy all day. I didn't know you were such a bird expert. What don't you know? I heard BJ was back in the running. Social media has been having a hay day with your politics. Hope you left your cheque book in the van.

Lav...doesn't Luna know when she's got it good! I'm glad you found the kittens and were able to get one. They have been a lot of work for you. Just like raising kids. I hope you have as much luck with this upcoming fair. If I lived in the states and Trump got back in I would definitely move to Canada. I see that he has now been subpoenaed. I hope he eventually gets charged criminally so he can't run again.

Mick, as you travel in the van to the motor home show, is it because you’re thinking of getting a motor home? Or do you have a tricked-out van that is already like a motor home?

PQ, I am excited for you that both your car loan and debt repayment loan will be finishing up next month!!

Lav, you tried so hard to help Luna with her kittens, and frustrating that there seems to be only one kitten left.

I fractured my right knee recently from a fall off my bike when my tire got stuck in a groove (trolley track), so am taking it easy now and walking with a walker for at least another month until it heals.

We are having a very warm, summer-like weekend here in the Midwest of USA! A last hurrah before Winter!

Good evening friends,

Still having nice sunny days with the temps dropping to near freezing overnight. We are definitely getting some nice leaf color now.
Kept the kitten in her decked out laundry basket in my room last night. She slept all night, never heard a peep. I put her out on the deck with Luna for ‘breakfast’ & she’s been snoozing most of the day in the heated cat house. If this works for Luna then it’s OK for me too. Still stitching as much as I can each day getting ready for Nov 5th. Son & family coming tomorrow to help install a new high efficiency washer that uses less water. Apparently our tile field is getting too wet or something so I hope this helps. We brought the washer home from Lowes yesterday but I can’t help carry it inside haha!

PQ, happy weekend & I hope it’s quiet. I haven’t looked up your weather yet, hope you didn’t get a lot of snow.
I’m happy if Luna & I can share custody of this kitten with no arguments Lol. I personally can’t wait to see trump twisting in the wind while being questioned by Congress. I’d pay to see that!! I don’t think there’s a chance in hell of him ever being elected again regardless of what his cult wants.

Mick, glad you’re getting around despite the rain. I’ve been busy as usual keeping myself out of trouble

I hope that knee pain is calming down a bit & that you are SUPER careful with that walker. I guess bike riding will stay on the sidelines now. Every year we get older we get closer to a major accident/incident, ugh.

One tired girl here... I just don't have the stamina that I used to have... but I did get in a good long walk this morning. Feeling a little under the weather this evening - I tested, but was negative. I'll test again tomorrow... I will be racing around getting everything done for my dear clients. Looking at the weather, it's best if I leave on Monday, then I can possibly escape some storms here in the east. The southeast - where I'm first headed - looks okay through Wednesday... then I'll have to see what's going on in the midwest... might be a little iffy... they have already gotten snow in Indiana!

Mick, I loved the description of all the birds. The birds around here are super-active, and singing and singing. I think maybe they are doing a last hurrah before winter or before they migrate. Great that you felt snug in the van! Have fun at the show.

PPQ - sorry you are so tired! But it sounds like a job well done -- and I agree with the comment above - it's good to be blessed by others!

Lav, what strange tales you have about the cat and kittens... I hope all turns out okay - and be sure to take regular breaks when you are stitching up a storm!
