The tower was interesting tg.yes that was the spot where Anne Boleyn and head parted company. What also was interesting was all the graffiti from those held captive there

How is the chicken motel doing lav?we travel home tomorrow..going to start early doors .if I am back in time will pick up the rabbits. The weather is supposed to be pretty bad next week so they say
Yes there is a fruit and veg shortage here. The main cause I think is the increased energy costs and brexit.
Right good people wishing you a great weekend

        Re: 26 Feb

        Good evening friends,

We’re still here after a night of torrential rain & wind. Lots of trees down nearby, cable & power lines too but none of that reached us luckily! We had well over an inch of rain, now we have mud
Taking a ride out to see our granddaughter tomorrow. Her birthday was last weekend but she was busy touring & shopping in NYC, haha!

Mick, thanks again for the great pics! I think I’d be a little creeped out in that tower knowing what went on there.
Chickens are all fine & I’m keeping the guests away from my girls. Mine have a reputation for tearing the wings off of uninvited visitors haha. Sounds like you need to expand your garden this summer. I should send you a couple of Amish guys, they’ll have you in over your head in veggies.

Slo, how’s your weather holding up? Any plans for the weekend or just R&R time? That can be good too.

PQ, I’m still not sleeping great but I don’t have to be anywhere early in the mornings like you do. Sooner or later the tables will turn & we can all hopefully catch up!
I ran across a Polish recipe I haven’t seen before, will be trying it soon: Chicken Fritters (3 flavors - cheesy, Italian, and curried) - Everyday Delicious
Looks good to put on salads or in a sandwich even, yum.

Cyn, I’m so glad I was so much younger when I did the scout leader thing haha! I could never pull that off now!!
I hope your weekend weather is decent so you can get out & about. I hate being cooped up for too long.

Hello to Pauly, Sam & Det.

        Have a nice night all!

Mae all -short post tonight... I just got back from taking dinner to my elder friend. (Poached Salmon). I have been there the last 2 mornings also... she needed someone close to help her make breakfast. Glad that I am nearby, she is a sweetie..

Mick best wishes for your long drive tomorrow- I hope you get home soon enough to fetch the rabbits. Great pics, thx!

Lav, good luck with the mud! I’m glad to hear that your power stays on I that storm, goodness! Let us know how the chicken fritters turn out...

Okay, done with trying to do this on my Phone!
PPQ and SLO, wishing you well for the weekend.
          Take care all,
          TG
