      Good evening friends,

Nice day here! Especially nice the 14 yr old grandson came over to help finish the mulching job. He went home happy with some $$ in his pocket

Mick, I was a little late tuning in but I did get to see some of the festivities on TV.
Hope the rest of your day went well.

Just walked by as my neighbor was detaching his 4 horses from the plow. He said they were ?about done for?, geez. Those animals are worked hard on these farms.

      Have a nice night all!

        MAE ALL...

Got to work this morning and all the power was on but an alarm was going off and as I headed to the office I knew it was the server. Turns out it was the power supply unit connected to the server, guess we should have powered that down last night too. LOL Took awhile to get the server rebooted and just when I was ready to delve into the website work I was planning on doing, an ex-coworker and friend walked in with coffee because she saw my car. So ended up visiting with her for 2 hours instead. Best covering at work ever. Heatwave has broken and it started raining about 10am, it was lovely. It's stopped for now but will start again tonight, boy do we need it. Lots of out of control fires burning in most of northern Alberta.

Mick...watched the end of the coronation before going into work. The part where the honor guards removed their head coverings and did the hip, hip, hooray. Then stayed to watch them on the balcony. Figure I saw the best part. LOL Did you get the hanging baskets made?

Slo...yup the review did result in some problem solving and then the next day I decided that I would rework the procedure for booking events and turn over the majority of the work to the accountant. Once I create the agreement, set the client up and invoice for the deposit, the rest is up to her and I can consider my job done. She was quite happy to take that on.

Lav...how nice to enjoy Cinco de Mayo and come away with your gift. Today didn't turn out the way I expected, it was much better. LOL The event tonight is over at 8pm and although I'm on call at least I won't be getting a phone call at midnight.

Waves to Pi & TG, hope you had a great day.

Planning on keeping the window open tonight to listen to the rain. Have a peaceful evening all....:smile:PPQP

X-post Lav...thanks for the pic. The horses are worked hard and I bet they are also treated and looked after the best.

          Mae all -

Lav and Mick, thanks for the pics. I just watched a compilation of the highlights (as I was busy all day), and it looked very grand...Mick, I note the stone of Scone! so fascinating to think that the Cathedral has held coronations from when? 1100? Something like that. I agree with whoever said that the Hip-hip-hooray was thrilling. Nobody does precision actions like the British Islanders. I was also so impressed with William... he and Kate seem to carry themselves like true Royals - confident but not "showy"...

Sorry to be away... that late night and early morning with my great-niece (and finding the right tire for their car - and helping them purchase it and the rim)- was just a lot. I also have a ton of work to finish up with for my course which will end next Friday. Last night I transcribed 47 minutes of interview with a dear friend of mine - it was a part of the Life Journey part of the course - learning to interview people and taking down their life stories - the things they value most in life, when they felt most alive - the accomplishments they are most proud of... interesting work! But I would need to use a recording app that also does the transcribing... my neck is still hurting from hours at the keyboard.

Lav, I hope the Amish treat their horses well! Just think of the poor animals in history that worked so hard. I don't love automobiles, but I'm grateful that horses don't have to carry us around anymore, except mostly for pleasure.
PPQ - things are always hopping for you! Glad to hear you are carving out "me" time when things get too much for you. I hope your good weather continues.
SLO - so glad that you got to see the littlest baby... I think all the family stuff might just sort itself out in time - here's hoping. And yes, that Flower Full Moon packed a wallop... for some reason, it seemed so strong.
Mick - well done you on the soldering! I grew up holding bits and pieces for my dad as he fixed things and soldered things together or apart. Sending good wishes for a suitable outcome for Julie's dad... somehow we have forgotten the human element... is there a Palliative Care facility around that treats people well? I just finished watching Pioneers of Hospice" - I didn't realize it was created in the UK... seems like there might be more and better facilities there than here in the US...
Pi - it is great that you are opening up to a new way of being... it may not always be easy, but it is a great change in one's life. You GO!!! Woot!

          May we be well,
          TG

OK, my neck is complaining about all the typing, so must sign off now...
          May we be well -
