Just wanted to say a quick hello to everyone. Busy day and it starts with the dentist...ugh. That's never a great way to start, in my opinion

Hope you all have a wonderful day.

    Take care!

Great plan Cassy. And that is what this place is for...to talk about yourself and work things out. I mayself have been AF for the past two days and might have a glass tonight because I am having dinner with 4 girlfriends to catch up on things then back to AF for the rest of the week.

Have a great day everyone! Today is my first day seeing clients at my newest location so, yeah me!
Sometimes I wonder...."Why is that frisbee getting bigger?"...and then it hits me.

Mornin' Beaches, Cassy, PP, and all who follow. Beaches, the dentist is never fun. We have a great dentist, I never have a bad time there, it is just so---dentist-y

Cassy, what a great idea to lay out a plan for the week. I was AF last night , and plan to be all this week. Maybe a glass or 2 this weekend. Maybe. We'll see. I was reconsidering my definition of mods this weekend, and to me, FOR ME, I can't have a few several nights a week, or I'll be right back where I started. I think I need to be mostly AF, and then have the occasional glass or 2 when the special occasion or meal calls for it. I'll let y'all know how it goes.

PP, how cool to have 2 offices! Do you do different things in each location or the same in 2 different locations? Good on you for a couple of AF nights too!

Anyways, have a terrific mods Tuesday y'all!

Hi Beaches - good luck at the dentist, hope it's swift, painless and without incident, cassy - sounds like a good plan, you can do it and all the best for the degree essay. preciouspinot - have fun in your new location and out with your GFs. New beginnings are such a great way to reset ourselves.

Today is my Friday and it's a bit slow at work, so I plan to be more productive with my time between massages. I am visualizing a nice trade with a colleague where I go first.

Tomorrow is my Monday and the 1st of the month - a most auspicious time to begin anew: so Weight Watchers membership awaits, as does a new fitness plan - I have access to a beautiful fitness center at my spa and use it less than once a month. THIS SHALL CHANGE!

Wednesday I'm going to a belly dance convention here in town, I used to be a belly dancer in San Francisco 10+ years ago and miss it. Then I'm going off to a massage workshop Friday in San Diego. The plan is to be AF all weekend - not really interested in sipping wine in my little Motel 6 room or over a solo dinner out, plusI have to sleep well for the drive back.

              Have a great day!

                    Betty,
Belly dance helps with weight loss in terms of calories lost thru aerobic activity, but the real benefit physically is that it makes pudgy bellies firmer and better defnined and makes no-waist skinny types look curvier! So there's something for everyone. It's also really good for lower back pain because it strengthens the abs while making them more flexible at the same time...as long as you're using good body mechanics (not thrusting hips forward, etc.)

                      Hey there Mods'Os!
Day off & feeling bloated & lazy...plus it's hot! 90* here this close to the Oregon coast is pretty rare.
The full moon was beautiful on the drive up river last night, it was so bright I thought about throwing the kayak in & going for a paddle, but I was too tired. One of these nights, maybe I'll do that... it's not like I'm unfamiliar with the area... There is actualy a group of folks in town that do full moon paddles every so often, they call themselves the Lunarticks. I don't go much for the group dynamic thing tho...prefer my dog.

Sounds like everbody's doing well. Keep up the great work! It's too nice out for me to be on the puter so I'm gonna cut this short. Be back later.

                      Have a good day Ya'll!

                        Tuesday July 31st

Hi all just popped in to say this an Af planned day according to my wekly planner i posted earlier on this thread,

supping drinking choc, gots lots to read,,,done the shower and fake tan(my usual skin colour is like a defrosted chicken!!!..yuk)Its the celtic white skin red hair look which was fine when i was younger but at 52 needs a little support!!!!

This is a "me" night so I,m all showered , tanned up, and well prepared for a relaxing eve with the hubby.
He is on board and wont drink either(he hats me going on about drinking or not drinking but is very supportive when I need him to be)

I,m doing the blood pressure diet thing for August too as I,ve read so much about how the booze and diet affects blood pressure. MtY GP is hounding me to start the medication but i told her i need 2 months to increase exercise and sort the diet in the hope it lowers the BP.

I am not overweight and reasonably fir BUT always room for improvement.

Bingeing wine has been proven to elevate the BP..i really hopw by septeber (when i agreed to do a 24 hr bloosd pressure screen that it has dropped a bit more like normal!!

Off to preen myself...take care Cassy
