Ive was AF for 7 days and then weekend came and social events happened, I was still able to hold on and moderate (as we would say) ending up having 3 beers and a total of two glasses of wine over the past three days (weekend).... I dont consider myself too much of a heavy drinker but know that my body is telling me to put on some breaks.... will this help?? to be able to completely draw the line at the end of the day???

Thanks Ladies, well I used to have one drink a night but then over weekends I completely lost control, could drink up to 6-8 beers a day got into the hard liquor at times hence getting some memory losses which, I realised wasnt worth it at all... I really want to kick this very damaging habit for good its just I have quite a lot of friends and we always social around the fire with a good drink or two.....

Hi Skye sounds like you are doing pretty good. Seven days AF is great. Some good ideas to cut down when your out socially would be to drink water or soda in between the beer or drinks. That way you could cut down how much you are drinking with friends. Take some bottled water with you. Also make sure you have a full stomach before going out that certainly will slow down the drinking. Well that's what works for me at least.
