Hello everyone.

The kindergarten visit last night went great. My son did so well on the bus, cafeteria, not so good in the classroom but then settled with circle time. I was worried the noise in the cafeteria or gym would send him into a tizzy. But all in all there were just a few episodes and it was great. We met his new 1:1 aide and she was also great with him. I feel so much better about this whole transition. Whew. My daugther of course stole the show in her new classroom. By the end she was holding her new teachers hand.

Hey all. Beaches, glad school night went well. BB, wallpaper is sooo not fun-either applying or removing! Lushy, I agree, hope this doesn't shrink even more! All else-hope the day is going great, and you are having some fun somewhere along the way.

I bet Judie is off catching some of the last great kayaking days of the season! Hope you are OK sweetie.

Lushy, so good to see you. School hasn't started yet? Everyone here is back for a week or so now. fresh new beginnings - I remember new backpacks . . called book bags when I was a kid! . . . the new text books, folders, pencils, watercolors (my favorites!) the fun of going back to school. Brings back super fond memories.

Beaches, so very glad your son is going to enjoy that school! what a relief eh? Thanks for all your kind supportive thoughts, I miss not reading your posts when I don't get on here.

PP, you sound like things are crazed with work but in a good sort of way! Is that the case? Kiddos back in school yet for you?

BB, hope the wallpaper stripping goes easy today. I like putting up new, not bad, I HATE stripping off old. Here in NM though, they don't have much wallpaper as most walls are textured.

Amethyst, how are you doing? So positive I hope you are doing well!

E, very funny on this guy. I am glad you could have a talk with him anyway. My husband came down with a bad case of foot in mouth disease last week. We had to head across town to sign on a real estate deal, my credit so my name - not his. . . he looks down at my legs and says, I do not want to "lug" you across town. I was like, excuse me, I am not a 2000 lb piece of luggage to "lug" somewhere. . . . MEN!!! One girlfriend emailed me that men can not help themselves and then immediately asked me if she could "lug" me to breakfast on Sunday! Funny when she said it, not so funny when he did! He of course said, he did not mean to imply I was useless or could not get around on my own accord.

Sammys, hope you are having a good day and your water logged situation is better now.

I called the doctor today and my test results are sitting on his desk. They would not give them to me, which has me a bit concerned b/c the last time, they just called me and told me over the phone everything looked good. OK, not going to freak just yet!

Gonna chime in here for a minute. E - your story is hilarious! Sorry, but your last couple of posts have indeed made me chuckle!

Beaches, I am SO thrilled your trip to the school last night was better than you had expected. I can't wait to see a pic of your upcoming doggie for your little one.

Hey Mary et all....I'm here! Nearly two-dimensional with tiredness - anyone got a pump to blow me up again?! - so not stopping long. Geting some sleep for wedding weekend... Goodness knows why - I'm not doing a 5th of what my bridal daughter's doing!!!

Will be clocking in as often as poss - and thinking of you all over the weekend.

Really good to read your news...sorry not to be individual again....
