Went over my mods goal last night but not too bad. When dh travels I think I need to plan something in the early evening so I am not just sitting around thinking of wine. It's sad but sometimes I think I drink out of boredom!

Ducky, I took up exercise initially around my bewitching hour and since then I have taken up knitting, some really fun scarves for the holidays.

Aww thanks everyone. What a nice way to wake up. My MIL will be making one of my favorite comfort food meals tonight. Since it is my birthday weekend I have asked to have the house to myself tomorrow to catch up on Grey's Anatomy, which I have not seen all season, and do lots of reading. And then tomorrow night hubby and kid will be making me dinner (that should be interesting!). Anyhow, I have much to be grateful for and that includes all of you. Funny, that almost every bday card I got had something to do with alcohol??!!!! One of my favorites said, "I am going to bake you a cake with everything I have in my refrigerator" and the inside says, "you should be drunk in about 30 minutes." LOL!!!!

Beaches, have a great weekend with the kiddies. I hope you keep feeling stronger!! You got hit hard.

AFM, thanks for all of the bday wishes. I am sure you are sick of me by now!

Hi again all,

Lushy I have been naughtily downloading greys anatomy this season .... enjoy .....

As for my fundraiser, my caterer went awol on wednesday so I had to find a new one at the last minute, A local business cancelled 3 tables as his employees have let him down, and my DJ doubled his price recently!!!!!

However ......... Last year I opened a bottle of wine at 10am while setting up, and drank all day, whereas this year I wont drink till the event and then will moderate ............ thanks guys ......

I'm safely back from my trip, though the airplane seats and lugging around my crap has screwed up my back again.

I met some really nice people. I had a complete stranger buy me a pretzel at the airport on my way out. He was a very attractive and charming man from Charlotte, NC....ahh that southern charm...I never did get his name.
