    HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

    Still trying to get over some things here at work, but I wish you all a happy Friday, whether you plan to be AF or mod.............I had plans to go AF, but now Mike is going out hunting for the weekend, so what a better time to have FUN!!

    Who knows, may hold my promise to myself and go for the long run??!?!

    Just wanted to pop in and whish you all well, it is going to b a GEORGEOUS day outside, had plans to go out for lunch, boss is not here, no patients, what a great day for a long lunch!?!?

    Anyway, enough babbling, will find something to do and someone to do it with!!!

    MA, you sound great today!! I think it would be a nice challenge and you will feel REALLY good if you tried to do that AF thing on your own and see what other fun you can have absolutely sober. I found over time, I love the clean feeling of no alcohol in my body.

    We have a friends house for Hanukah tomorrow night, think I will just drink water. (He makes the BEST latkes I have ever tasted!) Our anniversary is on Sunday. I am treating us to a nice restaurant - no dancing this year! and we will use that certificate to that lovely spa / hotel I won when I am a bit more mobile!! Plan to have a glass of wine on our anniversary. Dr said stop being a stoic and take the pain meds, believe it or not I do not like chasing my brain that I saw floating up by the ceiling looking for an escape hatch on those things! We'll see, if no meds then the wine, it is such an elegant restaurant with a lovely selection.

        Mornin' mods!
        It's my Monday.. but that's ok. Time to make some $$! Hopefully we'll make it thru a whole shift with power this week!
        Actually, I may even have some tips from last week waiting for me @ the cafe, since I served all of the elctric co. guys dinner & they hadn't paid their bill last time I was in...that would be "verrrry nice"

        Mary Ann- You do sound lovely today! Glad to hear you'll have some time to yourself...with good weather too! Enjoy it!:h

        MKR- Hope you're healing nice & quik. Enjoy your Anniversary. Sounds like a nice evening you have planned. Maybe stick to the "lap-dancin' though... LOL
        Hope you're being well "dotted" over.
        I know when I had my knee surgery my Hubby was,.. well,...ok with that dept...
        that's all I'm gonna say about that...

          HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

          So I'm having a sh&t day at work, the weather is crappy and I feel lonely....am I going to drink today? NO. I will drive my sad butt home and clear some clutter out of the way and then relax for the evening. I will take a hot bath near the end of the night and crawl into bed and go to sleep.

          Its a good thing my brother is coming over tonight because I'm sure I would have ended up at the bar.

                  HAPPY FRIDAY!!!

                  Well my brother just left and I am safe and home for the night. I already have plans for both tomorrow and Sunday so I'm pretty sure I'm safe for then too. I will be checking in both days (prolly several times) to let out some frustration.

                  I know I'll feel better not having gotten drunk tonight, I love that part....its dealing with the emotional overload and reprogramming my stress reactions that is difficult. I don't think I was ever physically addicted to alcohol, but I definately am psychologically addicted to it.
