Alright everyone, couldn't wait any longer.................sitting here doing all this BORING paperwork, keep checking you all and nobody will start this thread!!! I guess, well, uhm, I will do it!!

Hope everyone is good today, and feels well..............you all are doing so well moderating, I am joining ya, BUT am af til Friday..................I used to be able to do the Mon-Thurs AF and drink on Friday, I know here I can do it w/ your help!!

Morning All,

I'm a bit crabby today, I need a weekend already! I keep thinking that I have more time before the holidays than I do. Looks like the cards are going out late, but at least they are going out.

Hopefully I'll clear some work off my plate today and I'll feel better.

all is well here in NYC. still in total absolute denial about christmas and shopping. oh well.
just decided I am only getting gifts for the children, my family is too big.
I have also decided to bring the new year sober, you know that they say whatever it is you are doing on New Year's night is what you'll do the rest of the year.
How does bringing the New Year while doing yoga sound?

there is a place here that has a class specifically for welcoming the New Year.
I also have an idea for a non alc beverage it's like a spritzer but no booze and it's called.
'sober up'
does GABA make you have weird ideas?
ok my friends be well stay warm or cool depending on what hemisphere you are on

Been fighting a headache for the past couple of days...& it's still here.:upset:

Betty, glad to hear you keep in touch with Fan. I'd love his E-mail. I tried to E-mail him but never heard back...guess the address was wrong? Hope he's doing well.

Cowgal, Go easy on that knee. Don't want any more damage done before the big "fix".... Glad to hear you're feeling bettter!

Don't know if you guys have heard on the news about the Northern California family that's lost. They went out looking for a Christmas tree on Sun & haven't been seen or heard from since. A father & 3 kids, I think they're 12, 14, & 18 yr old. They're just outside of Redding, Calif. only a few hrs south of here(where they found their truck).
Big storms coming in since they've been out, & more the next few days. Hopefully they've found some shelter.
Praying they find them safe, really soon.:h

WOW, sorry Judie to hear about that lost family, bad news, don't worry I am taking it as easy as always on the knee, can work out on the elyptical without it EVEN hurting , but walking around the mall or even on the road, and HERE AT WORK, kills it!!!!:upset:

Hi, Judie that always freaks me out how those families get lost in that part of the country. Last year didn't a dad die when he went out to get help when their car got stuck and the mom and kids barely survived in the car for days.

Yes,
Sammys, James Kim died last year near here when he & his family were lost on their way to coast in the mountains.
There is some really rugged & wild country around here. In the winter it's very difficult for search & rescue, etc..
So glad they found this family. :h

We've got a pretty nasty storm brewing again here. I guess they evacuated Gold Beach last night (the town where I work...10 mi downstream & where Hubby's store is), because of tsunami warnings. We didn't hear the sirens up here, but I guess about 2:30 this AM the whole town was evacuated!

Fortunately it was only tsunami warnings and not an actual one. Everything's still above ground, but "on alert" for high ocean swell.
Never a dull moment around here.
