I think it does help. the only problem I had with it is that it was running slow and it frustrated me a bit. havent used it in quite a while.

It does help a lot of people. I tried it a couple of times then slacked off. Give it a go!

        Drink Tracker

Changemylife, I just started using the drink tracker and it reminds me of weight watchers. You have to go in get weighed and be accountable. Don't know if its a benefit yet. What I have done is buy those stars you use to get on your papers in elementary school and put one on my calander at home every time I have an AF day. I look at it every day and try to stay motivated to have more stars than blanks. Best to you and your goals. I will be putting a 0 in the drink tracker today and a star on my calendar

              Drink Tracker

              HI all

Di: Drink Tracker is a tool that allows you to keep track each day of how many drinks you consume. For some of us visual folks its a great motivator. To get to it, go to the Forums page and scroll down to Miscellaneous; select drink tracker; it takes a few seconds to load; you will see all the people's records who have set up their records for public view. If you want to set up a record click on the bottom of the page and sign in, and select whether you want public or private view.

To others: I've been on MWO since Jan and I use the Drink Tracker as a major tool to help me track my progress. Since I'm a modder one of my measures of success is the number of AF days per month (rather than consecutive AF days which the abbers count). I LOVE IT! I also do find watching some of the Abbers rack up their 000000s very inspiring.

Hope to do more posting here. Best to all.

              Ginny

I enjoy posting my zeros, and also seeing how online friends are doing.
My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

I would say the drink tracker is working well for me. I like seeing the zeros but I posted a 10 on friday night. I was having fun with good friends! The important part is I posted more zeros after that.

                    Drink Tracker

I've been trying to use it, but it's not very user friendly and I keep getting PHP errors. I've been able to enter some data, but I don't really understand why there is the ability to choose certain things such as moderation, abs, default, and what the start and end date mean. When I try to publish my entries I get a PHP error and then it never shows up in the public list.

                      Drink Tracker

Change my Life: Good for you for using the Drink Tracker especially racking up some zero's after a party night!

I Am Becoming: I'm not sure what is going on with your Drink Tracker account. When you first set it up you had the option of making your account public or private: I'm wondering if it doesn't show up if you selected "private"? I don't know about the PHP errors, but if the problem persists, you can post on the codemonkey link on the general forum page. The start and stop options are if you were going to set a future date to start abs or mods: it highlights the date in red - I just ignore them. Feel free to ask more questions here or PM me if you have more questions on using the drink tracker.

If either of you want to start posting, Ripley is looking for a group to start a 30 day mods group. C'mon DOWN!

Hrm..... What private or public option are you talking about Ask for Help? The first time I logged into drink tracker I just used my message board user/pass. It didn't ask if I wanted the account to be public or private. There is a button to publish the info on the drink tracker page where I enter my drinks, but that errors out too and the results are never made public.

                          Drink Tracker

I have just started to use it. What I hve noticed is that the people that are using seem to be doing really well - as long as they are being honest :-)

I've only done it 3 days and I managed 1 day AF. Woo Hoo! and "moderated" with a bottle of wine on the other 2 This is good for me I waould probably have 2/bottles.

I am really determined to cut down drastically.

Good job on the AF day Cheeks. I love the Drink Tracker, as I do think it keeps you honest. Why use it if not to post "your truth"? Sounds like you're off to a great start.
                            Best to you.

                              Drink Tracker

I did better last night 7 units. Instead of of a bottle 14per cent red wine I opted for 9.5per cent white wine. Not the same but was ok. I managed to stop at just the one bottle as well. Although it was hard going.

Just realised that no-one had answered the question about what thetracker was. Heres the link.
