    i think it takes wisdom to recognize if you can mod or not...and it's a hard reality to see...esp. since we have come to this site seeking help for our drinking.
    i also think people come here at different stages. vlad, i have read a lot of your posts in the "you know your an alcoholic" thread...and that thread has literally broken my heart. when i read what people say there, i don't think they could ever mod...and i can't post on that for i can't relate to the extremeness of some of those stories....it's heart wrenching.
    BUT,
    I am so glad mwo is here and is able to meet different people at different times in their life and give them support where they need it.
    Congratulations on TRULY listening to yourself and i wish you the best as you go af!!!

        Oh man... creating a brochure for the company I work for. Took up the first layout draft to the boss which was very pleased with and we discussed some alterations and extra info we thought we would put on. He was discussing images for the front cover and doodled some representations of what he'd like. I queried one of the doodles and he said 'Oh that's supposed to be you sat at your computer...' then he said, 'Oh hold on, it should be...' and the began to scribble something else... When I looked he'd written 'VODKA' with an arrow pointing to a pint glass!!!

          Oh... 12.6 units. Didn't stick with my AF night again - I struggle with Thursdays for some reason. Gonna post that doodle my boss did.

            July - Here We Go!!!

            Last night was busy with a salesman coming round to discuss solar energy and my mum bringing round a giant furry spider!!! (Don't ask) But I still made sure I got to the pub! I went to my sensible local though, i.e. the one that doesn't serve the large measures!!!

            Unit count now for this week so far is 20.8

              July - Here We Go!!!

              Morning modders!!! Tired this morning... woke up at 2.30am and didn't sleep again till 5.30am - 1 hour before I'm due to get up for work. Had some bizarre dreams but at least they weren't about AL. When I awoke at 6.20am I DIDN'T WANNA GET UP!!! WHAAAAAAA! Oh by the way my total unit count for last week was 25, which is worse than last week. Gonna have to up my game a little.

                      This is what maybe I am most afraid of -- that I cannot mod at all, and my failed attempt at a 30 was an exercise in futility. I know it sounds awful but it makes me not want to try, and that is even worse. I have been floundering for a couple of weeks now. I just feel confused and un-confident.

                        Feel shattered again today... oh and had another AL dream - but at least in the dream I was unsuccessful. I pogo-sticked down to the shop to get some beer but... THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY! HA!

                              Oh, I feel terrible - I arranged for a guy to come and see me about a website and then forgot he was coming!!! I haven't done that in months. It was a good job that when he turned up I hadn't been drinking. That used to happen so much, I'd arrange for people to visit and then forget - they'd turn up and I'd have had a few. One time I hid my bottle of vodka behind the sofa so hopefully they wouldn't know.
