Hi all -
I've been modding for about 2 1/2 months and am on 150 mg of topa. When I'm socializing with friends and family I keep up with them - 2 or 3 glasses of wine, but never more than that, as I used to do. When I'm home alone or with my husband, 1 glass of wine.
From everything I'm reading, here, that' s more than others consider the "right" amount -- but it's so much better than it used to be that I can't get myself to feel bad about it.

Thats really great - why on earth would you get yourself to feel bad about that. All things in moderation as they say. What you describe sounds totally reasonable to me. People seem to be obsessing lately with what other people think is right. It is what is right for you that matters.
I had my daughters 17th birthday party at home the other night - I said to the kids I hope you have all matured since last year - like I have! I had a few drinks (maybe 3 or 4 but slowly and calmly over the night rather than the mad binge I would normally do) and honestly I have to say I had so such fun and it was so much better than being totally wasted and not remembering any of it and spending all of the next day in bed or dying.
Jude dont you hate it when you reach the point of no return with the husband and start having plans for you new life without DH and then they go and do something nice..... its a bugger....

sounds like you're doing great. I agree with BH. It's sometimes hard for me to not feel bad or guilty for drinking in moderation and posting about it.
Keep up the great work and keep posting about it, ok?

Judie and friends just reporting in that Bruce Springsteen was amazing. My hubby had so much fun and enjoyed the band so much he talked about it all day yesterday. Did very well moderating at the concert, had a little to much yesterday but today AF.

Bonnie Raitt is performing tonight in Medford, I tried to get tickets over 2 months ago but they were already sold out!:upset: Dammit! I'm tempted to just drive over & try to find someone scalping @ the gate! (It's a 3 hr drive though... I heard tickets were going for $400 on E bay!)
I served her coffee in Telluride, and got to see her for free! She's awesome! I used to play hours of her when I DJ'd in Colorado...

Hi modders, I'm with Jude on this one. I don't like the idea of never having a drink again. I had been doing very well on the moderating until I told myself I was going to do a thirty again. I'm ok, cuz one out of 60 days is ok in my book. I do need to get back to the MWO program. Busy, busy, life lately. It really does make a difference on both the mental and physical side when taking the supps, topa, and listening to the CD's. I noticed I started "thinking" about the alcohol too much so here I am. Also, the universe is slowing me down for some reason (through my back out yesterday). GO FIGURE I have missed you all. Keke
