        Yay for You, Vlad!

        You have the time zone advantage for starting threads, compared to us in the USA. I do stop by the site, usually a.m. and p.m. I don't visit from work, because I can't erase the history the way those computers are set up. Today I stayed home with a cold/fever.
        My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.

          Hello Mod Mob!

          Can I join???? I love Vlad and Sunbeam's posts - my deal, however, is that I don't get online until evening - so I'll be here on monthly mod, or long term (wherever you post). Thanks for the new mod home. I, too, need a place to be accountable. Have been trying to follow Sunbeam and Nancy's effort to make AL more marginal versus the reward for being AF a few days. Just a different perspective, but I think important to long term modding. See you Friday! Am off to bed - must do something about these saggy eyes!

            Hey, Modsters,

            Good to see some life in the daily mods thread again.

            I'm managing to moderate fairly well at the moment given that I am in my fifties and, like many, I've just seen a big dent put in my plan to retire by age 77! I still have my house, for now.

            The only thing in my life that is increasing is my muffin top. I've been trying to remember that old canard that says something like that people getter fatter in lean times and leaner in better times. Do I have it backwards? But isn't that only supposed to apply to men! I'm no man.

            I guess I'm just being a cry baby again!

            All best for a day that is glorious blue sky (at least where I live) with a gentle breeze and only one day away from the weekend.

                Hi Eustacia - we hoping this will be a daily thread but we have moved it to Long Term Moderators as we think it tends to get lost underneath the Word Association Thread. Good to have you on board!
