    I will not drink today....

    Because tomorrow I will feel better. No dried up sinus cavities, no headache, no grogginess. I will have the energy to take on the day.

          Because my family relies on my paycheck. It hurts sometimes that I have to be the one they rely on but then again, I am grateful I can do it.

          I must be sober today.

            I feel like i have find some kind of peace of mind within myself, there is no madness going on inside me no more.

            sober dry since 11th Jan '2010' relapse/slip on 23/7/13 working in progress ! Sober date 25/7/13 ( True learning has often followed an eclipse, a time of darkness, but with each cycle of my recovery, the light grows stronger and my vision is clearer. (AA)
            my desire to avoid hitting bottom again was more powerful then my desire to drink !

              because it's day 14! almost halfway to my 30 day goal. to stuff up all my hard work would be a silly thing to do x

                        I will not drink today but women suck... I love and care for them too much. She says it is forever in one breath and then can't commit to anything. We are both so confused. A situation exists that can not be changed. I feel bad for us.

                                Because I'm taking my life back and away from the Beast! Nothing is good about drinking too much, absolutely nothing. I'm going to honor myself and my body, and health. I'm not going to drink today because I feel sooooo much better when I don't, mentally, emotionally and physically. I'm doing alot of praying to the Big Guy upstairs, and to our Bear in the Air, and to Mary Anne, whom I all know they are watching over us, and pulling for us!!!!!
