Tuesday
I will not drink today because it is not a special enough occasion.
I celebrated Easter Sunday...Enjoying a little wine and beer.
I didn't drink yesterday.
And I've been nurturing some new and healthier habits this year.
On Drink Tracker I have designated Tuesdays as a day to have a drink or two.
(Twos-Day!
)
But today I'm working, and will be working into the evening.
ED won't let me drink at work!
It's usually a day my wife and I go out to our roadside tavern, have a drink and a sandwich, and I fumble around with beginning "Swing Dancing".
I'm in the process of "normalizing" my alcohol intake,
changing into an "Occasional Drinker" type of Modder.
I don't foresee today being any kind of day
that would be made better by alcohol
or that would need to celebrated by having a drink.
I want the new plan to work.
I want to develope a new pattern of drinking.

Today is 2 of twenty...
How soon we forget how good it feels!
Maybe it's because our cleansing systems and neurons have been TRYING SO HARD to feel good,
even with the Al on board; that in the first few days of AF,
we feel deliriously GOOD sometimes.
That's where I am; a little tired but almost euphoric!
So; no, I will not drink today because...
I'm on two of my twenty day refresher
AND I kinda feel too damn GOOD to spoil it so early!It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that brings us happiness.
