I too have partaked more than i klike to admit. Nothin crazy just more than i have set in my goals or more continuous days. I will not drink today because there is no need too. I am happy and doing well.

I will not drink today because I totally agree with Lissie! And I want to respect myself, my body and my brain, and have others respect me also, I'm tired of using so much energy to fight the beast that just gives me nothing in return but GRIEF!

I will not drink today because my husband is so stressed out and down about work...My children need at least one parent who's solid and cheerful! Of course, in the best of all worlds they have two of us who are solid and cheerful, but their dad isn't at his best right now, and I need more than ever to be at my best. That means no alcohol at all. Not even one or two glasses of wine. (Actually, there's no such thing as one glass of wine for me.)

I will not drink today because I love myself and my family and I want to be the best I can be for them and myself. Alcohol does not contribute to that goal....or any of them for that matter. It does not make the stress better - it makes it worse, and I really don't like the feeling any more!!

I promised myself a trip to Sephora tomorrow to play with and pick out some new makeup if I didn't drink today. Sometimes feeling pretty is the best defense against slipping into the ugliness of getting drunk!

I will not drink today because I've been to Pilates, hiked through the woods with kids and dog, and have a roaring fire in the fireplace. Life is good without wine.
