I think I've set myself up correctly. You tell me.....My plan is to stay AB until the 19th and 20th when I plan to MOD for a party (we're not sure which nite it's gonna be on) . Then AB until x-mas time....(depending on which nite is my special alone time with hubby) I've selected to MOD between x-mas eve and the day after x-mas. Also, what does the red outline around some peoples days mean?

Question about drink tracker?
Hi JAMMS - I'm not sure exactly how the drink tracker is supposed to be used for planning. I was AF for 30 days and had planned to be, so I put those 30 days, in advance, in yellow on the drink tracker. I finished my 30 days on November 23rd (yay!). And, from then on, I'm trying modding. I don't have a plan that specifies that certain days will always be AF, etc., so I just leave everything in green. I guess if I ever decide I need to do a long stretch AF again, I'll put those days in yellow. But since you already know that you want to be AF except for on that party, and then, to mod on that day, I think what you've done is fine and makes sense. I don't know what the red box means, but I think it is supposed to indicate the start day of a "plan" but I'm not really sure. I personally haven't used that (except I think it showed up somehow by accident on mine once). I do like drink tracker, it really keeps things right out in the open....easy to get a sense of how you're doing, etc.
Good luck!

Question about drink tracker?
For me it is important to track how much I drink, but I've never made use of the colors. When I consider the possibility of having a couple of drinks, I don't want it too close to my last time. Aside from planned social events, I find it isn't good for me to plan to drink on a certain day. I end up drinking more when I do it, the anticipation just builds and I am more likely to binge. My life is better without alcohol, since 9/1/12. My sobriety tool is the list at permalink 236 on the toolbox thread under monthly abstinance.
