Are we talking' "What to drink instead of alcohol?"
or just "what to drink in our Modder life"???
When not drinking ALCOHOL (in moderation, of course);
this is how I look at it:

Where to begin... (From another thread with the same theme)
There is so MUCH!
There are SOOO many tasty things to drink
(and I don't consider them "substitutes" or "second choices" to AL,)
that I scarcely know where to begin or what to recommend.

There are exotic 100% juice drinks from anything they can squeeze.
from fruits and vegetables originating from places
you'll never be able to afford to visit.
There are waters, sparkling waters, and flavored waters
from every spring, lake, river and faucet in the world.
Someone mentioned a high quality ginger beer;
those high end soft drinks are great.
Just look around your market.
Since you are not heading for the beer and wine section as often,
the WHOLE WORLD OPENS UP TO YOU.

Something important to me is to avoid the NA beers and wines.
If you have a taste for alcohol; then drink it, and drink the best!
You can only fool yourself for so long with crappy non-AL imitators
and then you are going to cave!
Most of them taste like piss anyway.:yuk:

Learn to enjoy the other fluids for what they are,
and you won't feel cheated.
They hydrate, they refresh and the actually NOURISH you.
Have fun with them.

Raspberry Mint tea mixed with ginger ale
Virgin Bloody Mary---all the spices, Creole salt on the glass rim, celery stick---just no vodka!
Diet tonic and lime---no gin
White grape juice and Perrier

I invested in juicer and make delicious fruit juices in the morning and veggie juices in the evening. Not only delicious, but detoxifying!
