Wow... what a roller coaster ride!

Oh gosh, will you look at this? A thread from my 'moderating' days :H

Well, friends and neighbours...I need to report that the illusion to be able to moderate has been exposed and disposed of. Kinda funny, that I see this thread today... on day 60 AF.

It didn't work for me. Just didn't. It worked for a day, even a week or two. But something in my head changed. And not for the better. So, within a few weeks I was back to at the very least THINKING about 'a glass of wine' ohhhh... by 10am or so.

So, as much as I love all you guys here... I don't belong with you. Just can't do it.

      Hi sunshine
Kudos on Day 60. As another AFer, I agree with your conclusion. I cannot moderate. Funnily enough having made the decision to be AF, I find it easier then when I was trying to moderate.
congratulations again on 60 days. that's just great!!!:goodjob:

Wow... what a roller coaster ride!

          Hi, Emmy -

At the very bottom of the page (such as this one) on the blue bar, there is "contact us" you can click and e-mail the forum, and they can help you with problems (like when my posts got deleted all the time because I didn't click "remember me" at sign in). Hope that helps, and great on 9 days AF! Keep that up! :h

Sunshine, this caught me off guard, I wondered why you posted over here, then realized it was a few months old! :H

You sound just like me, though I had tried that about a month before finding MWO. It worked for 2 weeks (so I thought), until I brought AL back in the house, then quickly escalated to worse than before. Then I decided to try 30 days, doubted seriously I could make that, but wanted to "moderate", then fortunately saw the light and haven't looked back! Thanks again for your support, we can all definitely help each other.

          Much love to you guys!

            Thanks Wally

:H Dance.. sorry, didn't mean to confuzzle you! No. No more moderating fiction for me. And, Wally.. I totally agree. Once that decision to stay AF is made... it's like a weight off your shoulders. No more questioning, negotiating, arguing.

Emmy, I hope you figure out what's causing the block for you. Emailing the admin is about the best advice I have as well.

                Lovely,
I see you are new to MWO. You can join ANY thread you would like but you might want to consider starting a thread of your own to tell us a little about yourself and how you found MWO. You will get more response and immediate support. Welcome to MWO; I look forward to your future posts.
