    Saturday 30th December

Once, when I took my kids to the mall when they were little--because I NEVER go--they asked for souveneirs.....that's how often I go.
    Nothing wrong with Dollar Tree!
I also offered both my kids cash in place of parties this past year..they opted for a party..
    nice mom they have.
    Tumadre sounds awesome.

      {Oh, and computers. Mary could you (or anyone else) explain to me how to remove evidence of my visits from my brother-in-law's computer? YIKES!}

      E-
Call me back and I'll walk you through it. Shouldn't take more than a few minutes.
P.S. You're more wonderful than I am, so there! :l

SM Mary - I love that they asked for souveniers - that is hysterical. I hate the mall - I went, returned my stuff and left. Ick. There were like, 40,000 people there. My mothers a big fan of just handing me $ for b-day, Christmas, any celebration where she may have to shop..... I dont think a 9 year old grasps the concept - you still gotta do the gift thing. Sorry Lush. But I do like the Dollar Store.....I find something everytime I go in!!

E - Glad to see you. I hope you are feeling better on all fronts soon.

          Saturday 30th December

Had a little time this evening:

Hawk, I agree please no more cookies. Hubby brought home yet another box of candy yesterday from his office. He also unboxed the rest of the champagne he bought for the holidays, please no more!!!

SM-Mary, Extra parts for the trampoline, that just makes me laugh. Also, please add me to the, I hate shopping club. I spent 3 hours at Kohls today with my son shopping for shoes and clothes. Yuck! And that leads me to Lush.

Lush Dear. Congrats on you daughter?s birthday tomorrow. Mine will be 9 next month as well. Something profound happen when I took him shopping for shoes today. I was thinking when we bought them, they sure looked big! So I tried them on when we got home and you know what, they were too big for me. Really struck something in me. I took a picture of my feet wearing his shoes. All the men in my house think I?m a big silly, but I just don?t care. These are time you have to remember. Have fun at your party!

Pansy, very funny about the dog.

Eustucia, thank you for the welcome back. Sorry you had to visit the area during a rainy cold spell, but it was pretty today.

          Have a nice evening.

PS. Lush, I will catch you up on HI another day. It was lovely!

            Saturday 30th December

            Welcome back, Laura!
It has been cold! (Compared to Hawaii, drool, envy)...spent Christmas in So. Cal., and it made me remember how all my Christmas' were when I was growing up-shorts and T-shirts, or jeans if it cooled off. Tumbleweeds at the front door if the Santa Ana winds were blowing.
Both of my daughters wear shoes too big for me, too. (Of course, they're much older than 9). Bittersweet, and you're not a big silly! Just a mom.
