    Cheeks, I too want to add my good wishes of support. As others here have indicated, I too agree that focusing on change of habits is the key to success -- at least that is what is working for me.

        hey cheecks, i am new here, but what helped me not drink was having a schedule of what i was going to do all day and all evening, when i didn't i would slip, the longer i last the more i could vary from my schedule without a problem. hope this helps,

          Here goes ..

          Cheeks (love the name by the way!!) Don't worry about last night. Just think of today. If you can manage moderation, then my hat goes off to you... Take it one day at a time.

          Also, one thing keeping me going is trying to keep busy (which I am finding I am spending WAY too much time on the ol' 'puter!! But whatever keeps me sober!). That good ol' saying: Idle hands are the Devils playground
