Rachele--I too, am not too pleased with myself, as I gave myself permission to start too early last night and have too much---why? Oh, because it's Friday of course! When will I LEARN!!!! Damn!
Weather is getting bad here too, but I'm ready for some cold --it just may ice over! And that will force me to stay inside and I too would like to get this chaotic house in order! I'm feeling downright furious with myself...

Good morning to you all, it is not afternoon here yet!

I came up with a plan thanks to Terror last night. 2 bottles of wine for the whole weekend. I picked out 2 nice reds from the store last night. Where I live we have lots of really good cheap wine, so I enjoyed it and kept it to 3 glasses. As Tumadre said it is very cold and clear here and we are completely unable to function in 20-30 degree weather. Ok, I know you are all laughing right now.

Rachele, love the elephant butts. I enjoy the circus as well, got to love those men in tight tights..... :ey:

I will join in the cleaning frenzy today. My guest bedroomoffice is a complete mess. Closet, desk, under the bed, toy table, etc. Wish me luck. I might get lost and never find my way out.

Saturday 13th January

I did have to sleep in after that wild chat with the Aussies! I'm also hungover, to be honest. That's about 3 hangovers in about a week...I'm feeling really sh*tty (don't have to describe it, I know you know what it's like):argh:
We're having a family party here tonight. Most are non-drinkers, or will have a glass of wine only. My husband just left to go grocery shopping, and I quietly pointed to the "wine" on the list and asked if he wouldn't get any. He said OK, but we both know that there's plenty of wine still here in the house, and I know there'll be open bottles tonight. He is going to stock up on the sparkling water. Right now, I just want one small drink, just to kill the headache that starts in my neck and goes up into the temple, then the eye. Waa. OK, I'm done.
If you haven't read the post from St. Jude under Mods>I'm Thankful. Puts things into perspective. I seem to need such nudging lately, to remind myself why I started on this journey.
