Sophia, Sienna sounds like where you want to go, so I think you should go there. It isn't like you only have a one-time chance of seeing the student. Also, you should contact the Foundation Center in Washington, DC As a teacher, you may be entitled to Foundation grant money to travel -- you know, wrap it up in some kind of continuing education kind of thing -- they are throwing money at people for education purposes of all type, including travel, stippends (which pays for spouse), etc. Lot's of luck.
