Tamadre - It doesn't matter whether you are home schooling or with a ton of students. Choosing to spend your life dedicated to the education of another person is a true gift. And you may not think that you are doing well, but you are. After all, your child is IN HER ROOM enjoying the music of her choice. She isn't on the street doing drugs or getting into some of the stupid things our young people are sometimes want to do. It doesn't make them bad, but keeping my eye on this ball (yes, a very poor pun intended condusive to this particular thread -- forgive me) All kidding aside, looking at this situation, their choice to spend their time in this way is partly a reflection on your great success.

Tumadre, saying you are "just" homeschooling your child is like saying I am "just" a mom. I cannot think of a harder job than being a mom AND homeschooling. You are a wonder woman to me. Hello Dearys...been MIA for a while, but wanted to jump in and say 'Hi'...I've been way too lazy too keep up with everyone, but wanted to mark my spot for 3 months Abs today! woo, hoo!
