Hi -- checking in...
I survived the week in one piece, but the trip home last night was brutal!! Our flight was cancelled to Atlanta because of ice (how rare is THAT?) and the next flight out for that same route home was not until 24 hours later, so we had to fly all over the world to get back to Florida! Went from Las Vegas to Seattle, and didnt realize we had to change planes in L.A. (again) and then five hour flight home after that. Walked in the door at 6:45 this morning.... uggghhh.

Headed for the shower!

Hi everybody. MKR-Mary and Waves, thanks for asking about me.

Well, everyone here is doing so well on their drinking, I hate to be the one to break the mold - ugh!!! I blew it yesterday. I drank a bottle and a half of wine. I haven't done that in months. What makes it worse is that I have no good reason. Just the opposite. I have every reason in the world NOT to drink too much. I have so much to celebrate. The truth of the matter is that I woke up yesterday wanting to drink. There is nothing to analyze -- it was just sheer failure!!

Today, of course, I'm doing exemplary. But I am so disgusted about yesterday. I know, life goes on. So, that's my story of the day -- total, unequivicable blah!!! My drinking isn't the only think I've done wrong - I think I have spelled halfe the words in this post wrong!! Oh well, as Scarlett O'Hara says, "after all, tomorrow is another day".

MM and Judie, tomorrow is another day! It is OK, these are just reminders of why we are in mods. Also stop and think about the fact that this is NOT how you normally live your lives anymore. It is good, you will get past it!

MM, sounds like some great stuff! Congrats! It is such a weird feeling when you don't think something is going to happen in your biz and all of a sudden something really big happens. The last time that happened to me and it was good stuff - I had my blood pressure spike quite high. I mean what's up with that? Can't I just be happy! We are all celebrating with you, tipping our cups of tea to your success!

Allie, OMG - I HATE airports. Thankfully you are home! They strip searched me last time and they swabbed my leg brace . . . .all of it . . .for explosives. On the way back home, I had a biz suit on top and my athletic pants on the bottom, (true fashion plate) so I could pull up the legs and take the brace off, put it in the scanner. that had them freaked like if I fell I would be suing them. I was just not going to put twenty minutes into a strip and swab situation again.

PP, sorry you are feeling off, you had me laughing at the shopping. I love great clothes, I have been called a clothes horse . . . but, I prefer to have them already in the closet, really abhor shopping.

Lush, I hope you feel better this afternoon. Curling up with a good book sounds great!

We have the next storm moving in on us. Suppose to go to Santa Fe tomorrow and have a birthday party for daughter in law to be on Sunday. We'll see how that all works.
