Chartreuse Monday
Oops, sorry!!! I have been lurking on the boards all morning and realized I had not posted. What is wrong with me???!!!! Having said that I have nothing more to say. Could have been better this weekend myself. I think we should do away with weekends altogether until we can stop seeing them as some excuse to indulge. Okay, that's a bad idea but you know what I mean.
Happy Monday, what is left of it, to all of my muffs......................I'm really easy to get along with once people learn to worship me

Hi Everyone,
Recovering from the weekend. Sick kids and back to the doctor with all three today because the once we saw Sat wouldn't listen to me. Guess I don't know my own kids well enough.
Beth you and your niece are in my thoughts and prayers and I hope all goes well for her."Keep your eyes and heart focused on the end goal at all times, and never settle for less."

Chartreuse Monday
Just got some more horrible news this morning which has made it completely tough to concentrate in my office . . .AGAIN!! My doctor who has been a dear friend, so much more than just my doctor for a few years now, died last night from a blood clot in her lung. Our birthdays are the same day with her only a few years ahead of me. We normally go to lunch in January to celebrate our late December birthdays. Last week, when my mom had an appointment to see her, I told her please tell Lee Anne, I will call her this next week and we will go do our birthday lunches really soon.
My tribute to her: She always took her time with everyone. She was thoughtful and kind, inspirational in her fight as a survivor of breast cancer. She was soft spoken and an attentive listener. What I learned from her the last time I saw her. I told her I was upset that my legs didn't match anymore and that I may have to wear this stupid brace forever. She said she understood because she doesn't match on top anymore and . . . It's OK. She said, well I have found over time, if you can do the things you would like to do but only with the help of medical equipment then go do it, don't wait to be perfect normal again because that may not happen - use the equipment and go live your life to the fullest. She suggested I buy that second brace and go to Italy, like we had planned on doing.
I am so sad again today. You are right Accountable, life can be so unfair sometimes.

I am so sorry!! What horrible news. Big hugs from me. Sometimes life is so unfair. I hope you are doing ok.
Everyone else. Thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes for my niece. No news yet, but somewhat more hopeful that the issues are complications from surgery....I will keep you all posted. Maybe your prayers are working:h

Hi all,
Mary, I am sorry that this has happened. Sometimes life just keeps throwing one thing after another with so much speed it feels like we are reeling from one upset to another.
Beth, I will be praying for your niece. Life is so precious.
Gypsi, I think about you a lot. :l
So many of us have had hard times since Christmas in one way or another.
On a positive note my grand-daughter is one years old today. She was so excited with all the visitors and new toys. She didn't know what to play with first.
Fan and others, thanks for the positive words yesterday. :l
Love to all as always
