Just discovered another trick to make use of!
I normally go to the gym with a couple of mates two or three times a week - typically it used to involve going in the evening, and then going for a drink afterwards (to "rehydrate!"). That often led on to me coming home and carrying on untill I was rehydrated as a newt!!
Now we have rearranged things so that we go in the morning.
If I need to get up at 5:30 to be at the gym for 6am it is a strong incentive for me to stay sober and get a good night's sleep.
May not work for everyone. But it's helping me! The simplest changes to routine can make all the difference!
