The long and short of it goes something like this...
When one stops looking for the quick and easy way, and just deals with what's already on their plate, the quick and easy way soon finds them.

Hey Mike, is this for the never ending "to do" lists?!! Good to see you here!
Betty, thrilled you are getting some vacation time in there. Take it and enjoy every WARM minute of it!! It is so freakin cold in my office again. I set the temp on 73 at night and come in to it at 62-65 actual temp every darn morning. They chose my office to put the temp gauge in for the 4 of us on this zone.
PP, I do not know PC's so well. I am so very sorry to hear that. I would die losing all that info. did you burn cd's or dvd's of the original files? Ever FTP any of the info to the web within the office. You have probably thought about every way to get the info back. The walk sounds so great, help take your mind off this?
MM, sounds like another busy, busy for you! Have a lovely weekend. You really bring some very thoughtful ideas to all of us!!
Lush, so sorry to hear that everyone has the flu. Do you call it an epidemic when schools are closed? Hope you are feeling way better today and your daughter gets to rest one more day in there, that's good.
Hey Pixie, we may use our partners "eyes" the first bit to get more motivated but you really are doing this for you! I am so glad you have picked up that attitude it is a great one to have. Best of luck!
Jen, Happy to hear you feel stronger and you are on day 7!! That is wonderful!! do for YOU first!! He will follow . . .it may take months . . .but I think he will. Below a bit of a long story but I think it has happened through example and doing "my own thing" THAT is best for me!
During January I mentioned my husband was starting to look at how many beers he drank in a day because he was frustrated with not losing weight and working out pretty hard at the gym. We ran through what he ate and then I asked in a genuinely sweet way how many beers he drank on an average day. He said 5-6 easy. (I don't count what he drinks but I was shocked.) So we did the calorie math and I said, it would probably be easiest if he just cut back on the beers. He tried AF pretty immediately and was as cranky and whining as a guy can get (sorry guys) anyway, he has been doing 1-2 beers a night, whining at first but now mentioning how few he had with pride. I have never called this problem drinking or beer addiction or anything else as he does NOT believe that is what it is. I just keep telling him I am proud of him as I do see inches dropping off him. Thing is he is talking about this as though he was in the mods group here!! eg Saturday he says he is going to have as many beers as he wanted to for Superbowl and he did. Last night he says I didn't drink any beer three days this week and then adds but I am going to have at least 3 tomorrow because . . . It is Friday!! Mods, I have not seen him drunk but once after my brother's bachelor party in the 15 years I have known him.
. . . Moral of the story is - MODS do your own thing, do what is right for you and your health. Maybe a few months from now the guy who bought 5 handles of your fav at the start of this, will come around to your way of thinking without labeling it or having painful discussions or arguments around who is, what is, what do you call them . . .who cares, what the name of it is?!!
Have an excellent weekend all!
Hugs and Love,
Mary
