I agree, February can be brutal...I guess that is why we have Valentine's Day..we need the love the most this time of year. So, here's my valentine to all of you! Fan, thanks so much for the beautiful flowers!

Well, the little voice has been whispering to me a lot lately so I finally asked my husband if he would be interested in sharing a bottle of champagne tonight. I know he's been thinking about it too, but we've decided not to. He wants to, but more he would like for me to have the drinks for alterior motives, and of course, I just want to..we had a great talk..admitted our motives and made a mutual decision not to digress and fall for our weaknesses. It felt good to be able to do that. Funny how those 'desires' can be destructive and have nothing really to do with the excuse.."it's Valentines Day"...we would not have been popping the bottle to revel in our romance and endearing love for one another...he would be doing it so that he could have his way with me, and I would be doing it to get a buzz...I don't see real connection happening under those circumstances or our marriage becoming any the stronger for it..SOOO, this may be a little too much information for some, but it was a big test for us. I'm glad we were able to unite on higher ground for one another and for ourselves..even though I am slightly dissappointed that we won't be having the bubbly..at least not the alcoholic type. Anway, Me and my hubby don't celebrate valentines day, however this morning I came downstairs to find a dozen red roses with a lovely card telling me how proud he is of me for the last few months, It made me cry ... I wouldn't have got them if it wasn't for you guys here and for that I thank you all from the bottom of my heart...

Happy Valentines Day to all!!! There are so many posts on here I can't begin to repond personally to all of them...except...Jennah...you just crack me up! You are funny...you remind me of some of the hyper kids I work with lol...I don't mean that as an insult I swear! I LOVE your enthusiam and your energy...it is adorable.

Those of you having a tough time at the moment...I can just say this :l from me and everyone else. We all go up and down, up and down...unfortunately, life does that. BUT, this place is amazing, in that when we are down, we are not alone, we have a huge safety net underneath us. And when we are up? Well, we have our own personal cheerleader (Jenneh) and a whole cheering squad to boot.

So, a warm and loving Valentines day from Moi...:h

I woke up to a very sweet card, and candy witha big heart balloon! Just when I was so sure he'd forgotten!(we live quite a ways from town), So he had to have had it hidden in his car last night, I'm impressed.... and still very much in love... His folks sure did a great job of raising a gentlman. It's hard to get used to after being such an A-hole magnet for most of my life!

Of course my card was not sweet & serious... who'da thunk?

I got one that says:
