Thanks MKR & Lush, We've all known this was coming for quite some time. There's no way around it, just still hurts...
You guys would have loved her, she was quite a character.:h
Last time I saw her she was still joking & giving the guys in the kitchen a hard time. She had this really loud voice & laugh that would almost make the walls vibrate!

She also battled this alcohol demon for years and would always ask how I was doing with it...

I LOVE SNOW ANGELS!!!

Sounds like everyone is struggling a bit or a bit more - Allie - best of luck with new kittie - when we had sick dogs we used to put down boiled hamburger mixed with rice - the theory being that the boiled hamburger had no grease and the rice would quiet their tummies. Possible bottom line is that they're stronger than we think. MMII - good idea about the bottle at a time - we do that too but the box overtook us from the weekend. We're adjusting to a schedule of my working different hours on the weekends and my husband not but we'll get things in line.
My favorite recent smile is from the weekend away with friends at a hunting camp for "souperbowl" weekend when we all bring a crockpot full of different soups. We started out making angels and ended up on saucers on the driveway in the snow - haven't done that in alot of years and enjoyed the hell out of it!
If anyone has some suggestions with skunk smell from the neighbor's yard (very close) it would be appreciated. Not a good day for noses.

Optimist, I have always heard to wash dogs with ketchup to get the skunk smell out. Perhaps shove some ketchup up your nose? Just an idea!!!

Thanks Lush for the visual and the chuckle - I believe it's tomato juice on the offending smell not in your nose - I have honestly tried about a half a can of Fabreeze sprayed in the correct direction - that did not work - anyone have any other creative ideas??
