Today I am announcing that it is Thankful Thursday and would like to suggest that whatever else we say here we start by listing three things (or more!) that we are thankful for...!

Mine are:

I am thankful that I now don't drink wine or spirits at home in the evening - just beer

I am thankful for my virtual family here and my flesh and blood family and friends

I am thankful that I am alive and healthy to enjoy this fantastically sunny morning

I am thankful for making the big effort to get myself well.

I am thankful that i found this site and feel i can talk freely.

I am thankful that there are really nice people here who care and i am able and willing to try to help others with their struggles.

I am thankful & grateful to be alive, and that I have all my organs!
I am thankful that I have a God that listens, and makes me weep when I am hurting, cause that is the way he makes me feel through his grace & the Holy Spirit.
I am grateful for my wonderful, loving family & good freinds (I can see, and ones I can't).

Thankful Thursday (7th March)

Morning all!!! What a nice way to start the day.

I am thankful for my and my family's good health, esp., considering how much I have abused my body in the past.

I am SO thankful to have found this website and all of you incredibly brave and funny people.

I am thankful I have all of my sense so I can appreciate little things like the birds chirping outside my window this morning.

However, I am not thankful that I did not win even one dollar in the mega-millions lottery but I guess it just is not my time YET!!!

B, your car reminds me of that Stephen King novel where the car was possessed, what was it? Christine? You need to name your car.

I feel honored to be sharing this journey with all of you and those still to come today. Have a great Thursday!!!

Beaches, that car is possessed I am sure of it!! Tell it your turning it in for a better one and it will stop screwing around with you. Did that with the microwave, actually replaced it but had a problem with the replacement one, put it back in (this was day before Thanksgiving) BEEN WORKING ever since then???!!

Happy Early Birthday Beth!! My son's was yesterday. Can't believe I have a kid 24 years old. I can hear myself creaking as I type!!

Beaches, best if you drive to a new car dealership and park right next to the new car and let this one check it out as you go for a test drive!! You can discuss your thoughts on selling it to a teenager on the way back home!! :H Good Luck!!
