Again Ilex is not here to help me with the title so that is what I came up with. Oh Ilex you really need to help me out here because we suffer when I come up with the title. Ha ha

Don't know where I'm frollicking too but hey it seemed light hearted enough.

This weekend I hope to be very productive in getting a budget in place for our family. I think I can accomplish this since husband will be out of town and the kids will be out of the house for about 6 hours on Sat. A good start at least.

Hey, Bella, Ilex, Fan and Sammys, glad to see all of you here.

Yeah been up since 4 putting together an advertisers rate sheet set up for a new magazine they decided to put me totally in charge of about 6 last night. OK, by me, love having that kind of autonomy! Lots of hours though and headaches!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and enjoying their plan however it is set up. This one is a nonstop one for me.

Well I thought I was recovering from this cough and I woke up all congested as well. I am so sick of being sick! I am going in to the office very late and only for a little while. It's payday so, I might cause a riot if I don't show. Then off for a little shopping for a baptism and kids bday party I have this weekend. Have a great day and will check in later...

Gosh PP take care of your health!! Wow, you have had quite a run with sickness! It is a beautiful day here, and I actually think I might go and sit by the pool for awhile I am planning to be AF this weekend...I want to have a clear-headed and proud of my self birthday, so that is my present to myself!

No major plans, dinner with the in-laws tomorrow night, a friend taking me to get my nails done tomorrow...that will be fun. And I am bringing along my 17 year old and letting her get her toenails done as well... Sunday night dinner out with friends...(non-drinking friends, so that will be VERY helpful). The days are up-for-grabs...should be very nice, actually.

My 15 year old son actually asked my husband yesterday "how often do you have to trim your armpit hair?".....I swear, for a straight-A kid, he can come out with the GOOFIEST comments and questions....just thought I would share and give you all a giggle. He cracks us up on a daily basis...oh, he also asked if blind people ever drive......go figure...gotta love him :h :h

I sure miss my kids and grandkids asking silly stuff! They can be so serious! Hug them tight...they'll be grown before you know it! And manicure and pedicures are the greatest way to bond with a daughter! Have fun!

It is so great to see mods land so full today!!! And look at all of those aiming for AF weekends. Now THAT I admire. Weekdays I can do. Weekends, um no. Not yet. Sorry.

Beth, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I hope it is a great one. I think your son's question was very logical about the armpit hair. Last week the Community for the Blind came to our house to pick up used clothes and they left a reminder call on our machine and when my daughter heard it she said (she is 9), "How do the blind get here to get the clothes, does someone drive them?" Logical question but cracked me up.

PP, You need some sort of immune boosting. Or more rest or something. I am sorry you keep getting sick. Hope you do not overdo activities this weekend with hubby being gone.

Fan, so glad to see you around more. Enjoy those kids this weekend.

MKR, how on earth are you still awake after having been up since 4 am? Hope you have a great weekend.

Frolicking Friday

Hi all...
I've been scarce around here i guess, but had lots going on in all directions. I think I've got what PP has as well. Started out with horrible sore throat and cough Wednesday and then yesterday it hit me in the stomach... ugghh. My husband has had two guys in from Houston this week to train them, so that has meant nightly dinners with them (which is always nice when he can fly people here rather than travel and I get to join in on the company dinners), but last night we had the whole office coming over to dinner at our house and I was supposed to be cooking for everyone. Normally I love doing that sort of thing and get all into it, but yesterday I just felt horrible. I asked my husband if he could just take them out to dinner and not have anyone coming over, but it was too late. He said we would just cater the food in so I could rest, but you know you can never relax when people are coming over and I had to run the vaccum, straighten and all the while was running to the toilet every ten minutes. I had to go to the grocery store to pick up paper plates and a few things and almost had an accident on aisle 4..... OMG. So I made it home barely. About midnight the fever started and it moved into major congestion and so I got up for NyQuil and while I was up I heard a most horrific car accident take place. It was the awful sound that you never want to hear and somone must have gotten hit at about 60 miles an hour. Our subdivision is right off of a busy boulevard that is also under construction to expand, so its very dangerous at the moment. So of course I couldnt go back to sleep...

So I am looking forward to a restful weekend of lying around and getting better and hubby waiting on me and hand and foot. The one nice thing about being sick is that I have no desire to drink! My stomach would go into revolt anyhow.

No frolicking for me this weekend, but Beth I hope you have a wonderful birthday and wish i could be there with you!! Is it tomorrow or today? I'll probably be hanging out around here a little more with nothing to do other than laptop, T.V. and sleep!

And since at the last PTA meeting someone said my name in the same sentence as "you would make a great president for next term" I think it might fit. I do have a tendency to line up all my stuff in my shopping cart. :H

We had our 1st grade play last night and nothing fell off the stage, not even one of the kids. The props looked great and kids were so cute. The sheep were all covered in cottonballs, just classic.
Of course mine was the best. He was a giant in Jack in the Beanstalk and he got to have a big death scene at the end. It was hilarious.

I know I a missing just about everyone, so I will try to get back later.
