Morning All - Monday already - where does the weekend go!

I'm going to start with my normal desire to AF for the first part of the week and see how I get on! How can that be so hard having done 30 days - I think I'm in the wrong head space about it really - must try harder!

Good for you ..you can do it. did you do 30 days AF and then start drinking again??Mondai am is a good day to start...keep busy in the " got to have a drink time".weekends are always worse for me..gallop through the week and someho need a reward on fridays and saturday...do you know that feeling/ Well right now the reward cant come out of a bottle!

Best to you and all to follow. Sorry I've been scarce. Coming off of the flu, a hard time with Mom and a situation that has caused a lot of hurt and stress.

The weather is gorgeous and Spring has new promises! Had a wonderful weekend starting the garden around the pool. Not enough pots or plants.. somebody stop me!

Morning Ilex, Cassie and Allie,
The weekend does fly it's amazing. Oddly for me it's kind of nice to get back to work Monday am to feel grounded again. Striving for M-Th AF this week, which I have never done so wish me well. I feel motivated today. I did a lot of reading over the weekend of new members and their motivation must have rubbed off on me.
Allie, can you please come help my flower garden....it is so neglected. OK you can wait until the snow is gone I guess.
I am off to a supervisors training most of the morning to learn about how much more work I need to do and then tell everyone else how much more paperwork they will need to do. I will need to were armour for that discussion.

Happy Monday! Starting a string of AF days here too. Its just so easy for me to slip back to old habits when I get overwhelmed with work and other obligations. So, catching up today and getting a plan in order for the week.

Ilex and Cassy - You'll do it! You'll find the "mojo" that makes it work for you.

Allie - Good to see you. Been thinking about you and your Mom. planting and gardening is very theraputic for me as well. Last year the basil plants and tomato plants overtook the patio. We had a lot of roasted tomato and basil soup. A lot! Hope you are growing something good!

Beaches - I'm trying for AF M-F as well! So you are the paperwork fairy! I've been looking for you.......

Gypsi - praying for you and Jim.

Today is officially the first day of Spring Break, and I'm with Ilex---unless I get my head in the right space about this, it's going to be a tough week.
Drinking and not having to get up early to get to work---not a good combo for me.

I sure had a super difficult day yesterday as far as an overwhelming need & desire to drink...Still fighting being tired, (like in a drugged feeling) as today is day 44AF. Now I am wondering if I should try moderation or keep AF till I cave in and drink...

It's me, back from being AWOL. Again. I needed to take some time by myself to better integrate the work that I needed to do with the fun hanging out here. That being said, I've missed all of my MWO pals!

Allie, I've been thinking of you. I'm glad to hear that you are getting some sunshine from your day. Pot away, sweetie.

Gypsi, you know that I've been by your side, staying spiritually close, and that I will continue to be there for you.

Everyone that I'm yet to meet: a belated welcome and kudos for the good work!

I'll write more when I have time. I've got a house of plumbers to supervise. Yes, another wall collapsed. For those of you who don't know the saga of my ancient apartment, everything I write about this place is literal. mg

My kids drank all our coffee so I just got home from a major Starbucks run!

Rocky -- 44 days AF is awesome! I think I would become an ABS snob if I could go that long! (just kidding) I guess that desire is always lurking, but if I could go that long, I think I would have proved to myself that I could live life without being "dependent" on it. Why would you want to now incorporate it back into your life on a regular basis? Just a thought, but what do I know!


In the meantime, far from being an abs snob, I am hoping at best to be a mod snob and go AF until this weekend. I have had a lot of motivation these past few days to push forward to a new place.

And Beaches... would love to come and help with the garden! I am sad that all my planting is done. Now I have to take care of it! (the hard part) I just do flowers, but am itching for an herb garden. Anyone got tips on herb gardens? I would love an indoor one.

Laundry is calling...

Allie... goggle cooksgarden ...that should give you information on herbs. Herbs would love to live out by your pool! And they can be so pretty. I have some Rosemary that is huge!

Morning Muffins!!! Lots of people here today. Ilex, do you have the CDs? I know people are sick of me and the CDs but they really have helped me. Something to consider. I was in a good head space last week as far as AF days went and am hoping I am there this week. Like some of you I am aiming for 3-4 this week. We can do this!!!

I wish I liked gardening, I just don't. I so want a vegetable garden so anyone is welcome to come put one in for me. Thanks. And then if you could move in so you can tend to it that would be even better. Appreciate it.

Soccermom, enjoy your spring break. Do not let the wine chase you around the house.

E, Another wall problem? I hope it is not exacerbating your asthma too much.

Rocky 44 days AF is AMAZING!!!! Maybe up the supps if you are taking them? I have no advice as far as the mods/abs question. It is a tough one.
