Morning all - up at our time 4 am with runny nose and itchy ears of all things - catcing up on the postings - sharing a little bit of your lives. Have been doing pretty good moderating - not as good on weekends but getting better. My poor old 12 year old puppy's mouth was all swollen last week and as he has a history of bad teeth - you guessed it he had an abscess and there was a trip to the Vet for dental surgery (expensive!!) - poor thing has only six teeth left in his mouth now, he's been deaf forever and of course at his age he's getting cataracts so we have this puppy acting bouncy 12 year old beautiful sheltie that drools, can't hear and doesn't see very well that they sent home from the Vet's with pain meds - guess what kind --- CHEWABLE ! You just gotta smile when stuff like that happens. Hope you all have a great day.

Will be busy this week. My daughter gets the keys for her new house so we will have lots to do to get it ready to move into as soon as possible.

April is a new start for me so I will not be spending as much time on here. I am going to spend more time concentrating on my work and helping my family. I hope to spend my ( AF)savings on wallpaper and paint.

Busy one for me with work and catching up at home. I am finally feeling better WOO HOO. Now my daughter is sick so I have to get her to the doctor, yet another sinus infection. Grr. I am so looking forward to warmer weather. It's going to snow tonight...can you believe it?

Well, my Japan son's girlfriend is arriving from Korea on Friday for a year. Then, my mother is moving to Dallas at the end of May. My Dallas son is off to Austin to make a new album (he always gets freaky when he's doing that). And someone is going to have to take care of my granddaughter (light of my life) since my DIL works until 6 at least. Yes, I'm retiring, but I still have a job, and everybody but my husband has an agenda for me. Obviously, I've made myself too available. One day at a time. And I've been in a lot worse situations. At least it involves people I care about and want to help. Help here. I must be wearing a sign.

On another note, it's spring and beautiful. Well, there have been a few tornados hee and there, and a little flooding, but look on the bright side. Here's something from e.e. cummings:

Hi everyone -

Its raining here today and so its rather drab and blah. Such a change from the past two days when it was sunny and 72. Like Beaches, we are maybe due for snow. I love winter but it can stop already. I am quite ready for it to be done!

Today is day 5 AF for me. Other than being completely exhausted (I can barely get ut of bed in the am) it is going well. I am feeling better but just so fatigued. I also started South Beach so no sugar or flour and I know that contributes to the fatigue. But I am keeping the caffiene - otherwise I'd just be a little wet rag!

Optimist - sorry to hear about your Pooch and his meds. Poor thing! Pet him for me. I love dogs.

Waves - Great news on your daughters new home - good luck with your projects and enjoy the family time but don't be a stranger. I'll miss you.

Ilex - enjoy Easter and see you soon

Beaches - Glad you are better but sorry about your daughter - I hate how stuff has to travel through the whole house. Hope she is up and about soon.

Sophia - What a nice poem! Thank you. Sounds busy on your end but you have a lot to be grateful for with all those people doing so well! Enjoy the time with your granddaugter.
