    Friday the 13th!

    Good morning everyone.

    Today looks like it might actually warm up into the 40's WOO HOO heat wave. The kids will be out on respite for awhile so I am hoping to get something done after work, anything would be nice. The laundry invaders have entered again and I need to take care of that. I hate laundry, well actually just putting it away is what I hate. If it was just me I'd live out of my laundry basket.

    Should be calm at work, which I have most likely just jinxed myself. This weekend we are going to my sister in laws for a belated Easter get together. It will be nice getting all the kids together.

      ....and day 13 AF.
      I had a fantastic three days walking.
      I feel really fit and healthy today.
      I'll have to spend a while catching up.
      It's good to be back.
      I hope you all have a great day.

      I forgot to tell you,
      my grandaughter cut her first tooth yesterday.

        Beaches, I share your aversion to putting the clothing away. I can wash it, dry it, and fold it.......but when I actually have to put it away.........forget it, I HATE it.

        I think Fan said he likes laundry. Maybe we could send it out to have him do it:H

              Hi.. Friday tthe 13th has always been a lucky day for me, so I look forward to what the universe has in store for me today.

              I'm with you, Beaches.. I don't mind doing laundry, but hate putting it away! Even when I come back from vacation it will sit there until my husband can't take it anymore, or I go on another vacation..
              Face your deficiencies and acknowledge them, but do not let them master you. Let them teach you patience, sweetness, insight.

                  Hi All,

                  I'm having a bad day today!!!

                  Hubbys is convinced that i'm having an affair with a member of my slimming group, who in honesty is a great man who needs to lose weight and is also a recovering alcoholic and has been a good friend me in the last few months ....

                  I just tipped half a bottle of wine down the sink because I was gonna drink it to numb the pain!!!! The poor guy even tried talking to my hubby yesterday, told him that he cares about me as a friend but would back out of my life to stop me getting grief and to stop hubby being upset. So now i've lost a good friend and hubby not talking to me!!!!

                      TGIF to everyone!!

                      This morning I met with the Judge who is in charge of Drug Court in this county to market my program. She has been around a long time and is a very impressive lady. We were in her chambers talking and talking and what she prescribes to those who come before her (thousands a year) is treatment and/or education as well as a 12 step program. Either AA, NA or now CA (cocaine). She says they only work if the person believes in a higher power ect and so on and I asked her what she does if they don't buy into the 12 step process. She says there are people who have come before her stating flat out 'I don't believe in a higher power period". With these clients she is at a loss as to what to do. I was really surprised that for as long as she has been around and the experience she has that AA is still seen as the ONLY choice when it comes to addiction. I could have started marketing for RJ at this point but, not comfortable with that step yet! I would have to delete myself from this site and for now I will be selfish.
                      Sometimes I wonder...."Why is that frisbee getting bigger?"...and then it hits me.

                        Oh BB I am sooo sorry for you! We were posting at the same time...... I'm sure hubby will come around. Maybe he does know the truth deep down but, is not ready to tell you he was wrong. I know a thing or two about that scenerio

                          Beaches, I love the smell of fresh laundry! OK, we had shorts and springtime weather a couple weeks ago. We have snow and rain today. You northern folks can have it back!!

                          Popeye, good for you on 13 AF! Grand babies are too cool . . . can hardly wait! (I know, it will be awhile, sigh.)

                          Fan, LOL, teething does bring out the best in them!! Speaking of taxes, I am avoiding saying hi to the CPA's next door. All 5 of them are on a mission and kind of frowning about now! I do a weekly docket during tax season on their website and one of the dockets is 55" long now, 1/4" represents 1 client.

                          BB, I am sorry that is happening. Pouring the bottle out is a good idea. Maybe a conversation with your husband when he is feeling a little less insecure would be a good thing. He may be feeling extra upset over Kerrie and is looking for someone to throw that anger and upset on. Stay sober and calm, it will help the situation. We all love you here and know you can do this without the bottle.

                          PP, hope your birthday dinner was wonderful. 20 people is a lot. I am sure you enjoyed yourself. The judge, wow, I understand though not wanting to give the site away to her. You need your anonymity in your community.

                          Judie, WAAAAAAHOOOOOOOO!! Enjoy that vacation as I won't be around to tell you this before you leave.

                          I have a dinner tonight with some girlfriends, one tomorrow evening with in laws that is a jazz night also. An art reception on Sunday afternoon and 12 of us for my husband's 50th on Sunday evening. I have a plan, one drink a night at each thing, no heavy alcohol at the house, and just steady working towards getting the ingredients bought, tables laid out, decorations put up, food cooked without freaking out of all the other stuff I have to do. Went to bed early last night so I have a better handle on the weekend!

                            BB, sorry you are dealing with unfounded accusations. Maybe hubby is insecure about your healing...remember, it is his fears and you don't have to feal them for him..just reassure him the best you can, that's all you can do. It's an icky feeling when someone doesn't trust you..((hugs))

                            AF yesterday, so that is a start!

                            I didn't drink yesterday but I did spend 130 on new clothes..I guess it's for the 13th, heh? I've gained some weight and of course, that doesn't do anything for the self esteem when it's shaky...SOOO, I bough 4 of the lovely new tunic style tops to cover my arse until I take it off again..funny, hubby likes the extra pounds but I like to feel thin...don't know if it's the extra weight or just the extra age. It's a bitch being in transistion from youth to maturity! LOL

                            PP- good luck on your marketing ventures. I'm not sure what your program is, but I'm sure it will be greatly recieved if you are the one marketing it.

                            Fan, I've come to enjoy laundry for the same reasons you've stated..of course, I'm with the others when it comes to putting it all up...there is an exception..I like doing the laundry when I'm in the mood to do it...I don't like to rush it.

                            I hope to put my garden in this weekend..it's calling for rain, so I might not be able to till it. I know that once I get into planting the veggies, I'll feel much better.
