Good afternoon everyone!

I went to my son's school this morning and discovered that afterwards all the mother's were expected to join the kids on their field day to a local park...whoops...didn't get that memo..so, had to call the office and run home and change clothes. We had a great time.

I went to the store today and bought a portable CD player to start up again with the hypno CDs, a pedometer to measure my walks with better accuracy and hand weights to carry while I walk.

I am very busy again this week...I won't bore you with my agenda...so I will be AF for the next 4 days to keep my head on straight..

Much respect to all my friends here at MWO! We really are a great group of people aren't we...I mean really we are!

Tx Betty, I am done beating myself up. I should be pretty good at it by now. I am joining Quiescent's 30 day mods thread to motivate myself. It is simply amazing how much time I spend thinking about drinking, or not drinking, every day. What a waste!

Making a comfort foods dinner tonight. A tomato tart with gruyere cheese, tomatoes and fresh herbs. And a nice salad. Yum.

Is anyone else a cookaholic? I just love to cook, almost as much as I love wine, lol...

This morning I woke up at 5am dreaming that hubby was lost in a blizzard on a neighbouring mountain but I was safe in a mountain hut. Luckily he
Wandered in covered in snow and looking just like a yeti just as I began to wake.

Optimist - grandaughter 's are the absolute best.

Hey everyone...hope all the mom's had a good day. Mary, your day sounds lovely..what a thoughtful gift! I spent the day in the garden and two of the grandboys came over..the 7 year old helped me reinforce a fence to keep a family of chipmunks out of my strawberries...that is a good day!

MKR..love your tip from the universe..and I would 86 the talk show, but love the rest!
