Half way through Tuesday already

and I have done nothing other than read on here.

This is my day for getting on top of the house( cleaning wise-not climbing up ladders )

I think I need help. Is there a tablet to wean you off this site?

3 people I am thinking about today:

One person I think about every time I come on here is Mollruss. She came on here at the same time as me. We were going to be support buddies. I went on holiday and when I came back she was no longer posting. Her last post was emotional and I have always felt that by not being here I let her down. I hope that she found her way out as she appeared to be doing well with the meds and the cds.

Sorry, must be feeling reflective today.

Half way through Tuesday already

Hello Waves and everyone elso who will come. Back to work after the holiday weekend. Did OK with moderating however not as well as I wanted too especially Saturday night and of course I spent Sunday doing the internal self abuse routine and silently kicked myself in the butt all day. Yesterday was back on track and on my way again. I am just so thankful that I found you all and am not where I used to be which was waking up most mornings feeling horrible.

My toddler has a fever that came out of nowhwere so I am back on sick patrol and watching him. Very strange. One minute he was fine and the next he just stopped and was laying down. He never stops moving.

Waves, I know what you mean, I have seen some people join here and then just disappear, Ilex used to start our mods thread every morning and then went on holiday and never came back!!!!! Don't feel bad about it ...

I've just finished work for the week, thats the good thing about working for family, I get lots of time off in the school holiday ...

Me and mum are off to book a crafty week in Florida tomorrow.. I'm excited already, just me, mum, and Kerrie .....

Good morning Waves, Beaches, BBoop!

Had an AF day yesterday, first for me in a while. There was one glass in the bottle from Sunday and I almost gave in, but thought better of it.

If you are like me Waves you love a clean house but don't love cleaning. However, I am VERY ocd so I spend a lot of time cleaning.

Beaches, glad you are back on track. I overdid it on Sunday (not too bad but enough) and was down on myself yesterday.

Betty, sounds like a relaxing week you have planned.

Seems as though this is finding many in much better space than last week. I am happy to see that.

Beth, Sweetie, you are NOT selfish in the least, good grief with all you have going on do not worry about venting, we are all here for you. I am so sorry your niece is not doing well. I am happy you will be with your sister this week to help be support for her. I am just in tears over your niece. You asked about my son's biopsy was on his scalp. We have not heard yet, but I would be surprised if it was something horrible as they would have pushed this biopsy through quicker. Don't you think.

Waves, glad to see you here! You are in a very reflective mood. I too wonder about the folks that come and go here. I hope they are doing well. Speaking of which Captain Morgan pm'd me the other day. He is doing super. I kind of thought he would hang on since he seemed so determined. There are so many though taht I hope are doing well and didn't just give up.

Beaches, hope your baby feels better. Hard to watch them sick.

BB, sounds like things are going better! LOL on the ironing, I know that feeling!

Ducky, yesterday was the first of many evenings like that. It stops calling so loudly after awhile! I am so impressed with your progress.

Judie, I am sorry about your dad. It is so hard to watch. on the flip side your grandma is a hoot and truly inspiring for many!

Lushy, glad you had a social and fun weekend. Meh, painting can wait besides it doesn't dry well in humid rainy weather.

Pixie, it is so nice to see you post, I am miss you when you are not around a lot.

Accountable, so happy you like your new job. Great. Mom guilt, it's there but you gotta do what you gotta do and later in life, the children realize that you set a good work ethic example for them through out their lives.

I have had an OK, weekend. Mostly visits to the hospital and cooking for when my dad does get home. He had a set back or two but is hanging in. Went for a walk in the woods on Sunday afternoon but beyond that, blew off all parties and anything extra. Spent sometime yesterday, sleeping and reading while watching tufts of dog hair float around the house. Just don't care about now!

Mary, hope your dad continues to improve. I wish I could watch the dog hair blow around. I am a serious OCD type and cannot rest if my house isn't perfectly clean. I wish I could ignore it sometimes...

Anyway, my conference went well. I learned tons and brought back tons of materials for my staff...very excited. Disney was a blast too. This time we took it very slow paced and hung out by the pool and jaccuzi.....had quality family time. Did well with moderating on my trip except for one night but, I had absolutly no intentions of moderating that night. My sister came up for a meeting she had and we went out to dinner and then drank wine in the hotel room in our PJs and had a great laugh / talk just the two of us. We never get to hang out like that, so it was fun. Never intended to be a saint about my moderating goals and did not drink to the point of blackout or anything horrible. I exercised everyday while on vacation as well so, feeling good!

Hi everyone just got home from work which was frustrating today. Just some paperwork that needed doing and of course we have a new town clerk and she switched how things have been done for the last ten years. With of course no notification.

Half way through Tuesday already

Hi everybody!
Well I survived 4 busy days of waitin' tables this weekend... I was soo tired last night. I don't think I even dreamed.
I think I over did it kayaking yesterday before work too... but at least I have my priorities straight!
Yahoo! I'm off till Friday now... unless I decide to go paint a bedroom @ clients house... but the weather looks too good... & there's no hurry to get it done (she already assured me of that...perfect!) Think I'll wait for bad weather for that project.
There was a 1/2 page article in the county paper about my Grandma turning 99 last week, a story about her life, with a few photos. Pretty neat! I'll have to post some more pics of her for ya guys.
I caught a couple of great waves off of the jet boats yesterday on the river. One of em washed me up onto the gravel bar! It was pretty funny, the tourists loved it! I think he was trying to flip me, the wave must have been at least 4 or 5 feet! Those big tourist boats put off a good size wake if they 'gun it' & you're really close to the back of their boat. Fun!
Think I'll have to go do it again today! My doggie's gotten really good at stayin on the kayak too he hasn't gotten washed off yet this year.(hope i didn't just jinx him)
