      Hello all
      Mary that is wonderful!!! I am so glad to hear this news. Thank goodness. I know you are strong person with clear goals in mind and you will not allow yourself to slip into 'heavy drinking' days. You can do it!
      Kali - what the others said is absolutely right - the first 3-4 days is the "withdrawal" period but mostly the effects of withdrawal end after day 4. Anxiety is very common but will pass with time and you will feel better than ever. Just hang in there.

        Thanks to all of you so very much.... With so much going on for all of you I really appreciate your help.. I made a mistake it's only day 3- duh... Oh well, I went to a Yoga class, and did some shopping for my mom.

          Yoga is a great way to alleviate stress. Way to go! You will feel better in no time!
          By the way are you taking a B-vitamin? This HELPS with anxiety.

              Afternoon to all - have been keeping track - things are gong okay with only minor challenges. It's been hot here and our air conditioning is out at work - made a terrific crock pot meal of San Francisco pork chops today - hang in there
